These four Ukrainian Warriors from the 65th Mechanized Brigade spent 320 days defending a frontline position in the Orikhiv sector of Zaporizhzhia region. Now, they've finally made it back from the front line. To reach the evacuation point, the Defenders covered about 18 km on foot over three days, through rain and fog, under the constant threat of Russian drones. They were then transported by armored vehicle to a location where their brothers-in-arms and medics were waiting. The group was led by Ukrainian Defender Vitalii, call sign "Cheburashka." All four made it out alive. Previous rotation attempts had been thwarted by Russian drones and artillery.
