spent today judging "The New Agentic Economy" hackathon with @GoogleDeepMind, @supabase, @forever22ai, @Google
happy to sit next to my friend + fellow judge Erin from @PayPal which it’s pretty apparent: the best teams shipping agentic products have commerce tied into the user experience.
@opheliaapi strives to support builders, creators, or any companies that want to explore autonomous purchases into their flows.
we also got to present "The People Award" to “Echo” for AR wearable software built for blind patients, since everything we build at @opheliaapi is built for platforms, but made for people.
very exciting time to witness incredible change, cheers to progress! huge congrats to the other winners + @kayacancode + @betaworks for hosting the best event :)

Forever 22 and @betaworks are hosting Multimodal Hacks this Saturday: a full-day hackathon on new interfaces for AI agents.
Over 500 people registered, but only 100 builders are getting into the room: engineers from Meta, Apple, Amazon, Google, Datadog, Visa, and TikTok; founders building across the agent stack; and students from NYU, MIT, Harvard, Berkeley, Cornell, and CMU. The mix is the point — interfaces for agents won't come from any one corner of the industry.
