We should be able to trust the hardware we use to protect our digital assets Security shouldn't require opening devices or hacking our own hardware wallets just to know what's happening inside Open, transparent, and verifiable hardware is important for the future of crypto.
Our trust in our hardware has entered freefall lately. Vitalik is right that this is unacceptable. You shouldn't have to hack your television or dissemble your hardware wallet. Accessible, open, and verifiable silicon is necessary and Ethereum welcomes those building it.

AI progress isn't just about building more data centers and using more computing power. better algorithms and efficiency matter too. we need innovation, but we also need time to prepare for the risks that come with it.
I know this is a predictable opinion from me but I don't agree with the strong emotional reaction against the anti-data-center movements that I've seen this week. As I see it, algorithmic progress means that whatever you would be able to do with more and bigger data centers in 2 years, you will be able to do with the data centers we have today in 4 years - probably sooner. So nothing remotely apocalyptically bad will happen from even extreme levels of success by anti-data-center people. Meanwhile we need all the time we can get to better harden the world against both already-visible cybersecurity issues and any bio and other risks soon to come. Science applications are bottlenecked by many things other than AI, so slowing AI down by one year will slow those down by much less than one year. Given this, a slowdown in compute hyper-scaling seems quite net good? Notice this is without any controversial "doomer arguments", RSI etc. Even if net-bad, it's certainly not worse than like 10+ other political things.

an important update on @virulentdao . as we move toward becoming a DAO, I've decided to redesign and upgrade our vip pass into something that better represents our new direction and fits the Virulent ecosystem. the new name will be virulent covenant pass. ⬇️

once the new artwork and preparations are complete, i'll announce the minting date and let everyone know when minting goes live. once the covenant pass minted out, we'll move toward our main NFT collection, planned for 2027. ⬇️

building something meaningful takes time. i'd rather build something that lasts than rush something just to get attention. progress over promises always.

A vision built for the long term. From community governance to real rewards, merchandise, and future expansion. We're building more than an NFT project. We're building an ecosystem. One step at a time. 🩸 Dare to Defy.

in the beginning, a founder builds the foundation. as the project grows, the founder builds a team that can take it even further. you don't have to control every decision or do everything yourself.

great leadership isn't about having all the answers. it's knowing when to lead, when to listen, and when to trust others to do what they do best. build the vision, build the team, let them build the future.

falling is part of the journey. staying down is a choice. every setback teaches you something. you learn, adjust, practice, and come back stronger. **the goal isn't to avoid every fall. it's to stay in the game long enough to succeed.**
You fall and you fall hard. Some people won't get on the tightrope again, and some people will. And then they think, how to do that? How to be bold and aggressive and pull it off? You start to think about doing things differently and practicing more. It is that combination of caution and practice that allows you to take it to limits that you never would have been able to take it to before. Once that is learned, everything changes, because it also teaches how to take the hits. Getting banged up is fine, but getting knocked out of the game is not. The willingness to get banged but not knocked out of the game is a big part of that. #RayDalio #Resilience #Principles

i want @virulentdao to be built on more than just promises. real rules, verifiable ownership, transparent treasury management, accountable leadership, and a governance system that can survive and evolve without depending on its founder.

the goal isn't to build a #DAO around one person. it's to build something the community can truly own. that's the future i envision for @virulentdao

we're not just building an nft project we're exploring something bigger: a community-owned ecosystem where holders have a real voice Virulent is evolving.

Building Virulent is not just about having a vision. it takes time, effort, funding, and a community that believes in what we're building. The VIP Pass is a step toward making that vision happen. Our goal is to give holders real utilities, a voice, and a reason to grow with us.
Why we built the VIP Pass 🔥 Virulent has a bigger vision, but building an ecosystem takes time, resources, and a community that believes in the journey We created the Pass as a way to support Virulent's development while giving early supporters something meaningful in return

Build a portfolio with patience, conviction, and a long-term vision You don't need every bet to win. you need a few asymmetric opportunities where the upside can change your future Think long-term, stay curious, let time do its work.
The ideal passive portfolio is a broad collection of highly asymmetric long-term bets.

AI isn't slowing down..it's just getting started As AI advances, quantum computing and cryptography become even more important The next big challenge is not just building smarter technology, but keeping our data and digital assets secure.
Don't get confused: AI is not going to slow down. AI is here, it's kicking strong, and it will continue to enhance everything around us. What does this mean for quantum and cryptography? My take below 👇

Managing money starts with understanding where it goes. AI can now help turn balances and transactions into simple answers. Less confusion, better financial awareness. Interesting move from Claude.
Introducing Personal Finance in Claude, in beta in the US. Connect the accounts you choose, and Claude answers your money questions in everyday language, from your own balances and transactions. Access is read-only, and Claude can't move, manage, or invest your money.
