it doesn’t surprise me that gavi wants to stay at barΓ§a. it’s all he’s ever known, and after everything he’s endured to recover from his injuries, he has every right to want to fight for his place. that was never the issue. the issue is a manager who constantly praises his importance while refusing to give him meaningful opportunities, and a club that seems more interested in using his image for PR than actually supporting his development. saying we should stop defending him because β€œhe’s doing it to himself” completely misses the point. public outrage is what forced the club to address his situation in the first place. his loyalty shouldn’t be used to justify his treatment, and it certainly shouldn’t be a reason for us to stop advocating for him.
