This brings us back to when you said there is "overwhelming proof of the medical benefits for multiple uses" - But you didn't provide this proof.
I'll ask again: Where is the "overwhelming proof" of the benefits marijuana has for anxiety?

Sir Robin Murray, a professor at the Institute of Psychiatry at King’s College London, said that the link between cannabis use and violence is a “neglected area”.
“It may be a surprise to the many who think cannabis is a chill-out, anti-violence drug.”

It's one example of many where the checks aren't stringent enough. Stoners & greed lobbies have taken advantage, as they said they would. E.g., here's NORML admitting medical weed is a scam & they're planning on taking advantage of people like you to give cannabis a good name.

Most people won't know if they're predisposed. There's no objective test & there's growing evidence that the drug can cause mental illness independently.
Robin Murray & Marta Di Forti, who run the UK's cannabis treatment clinic, say there's no good evidence, let alone proof:

The part that mentioned cannabis in the original version of the BBC article wasn't specifically pointing to any admission?

How do you know it's extremely low? What evidence? It was already de facto legal in most countries.& when something like an unprovoked stabbing happens, no investigation into past use is done. It's only reported when unavoidable. Even that's enough to make the correlation strong:
