Tavernier,Rogers in for Saka,Semenyo.
First -4 in 1.5 years. Not a fan of -4 but it was necessary.
Doubling on ARS defence even in a tough ground ain’t a bad idea. This defence proved many times that can resist. I believe Calafiori will start.
Good luck everyone.
I paid to join private FPL groups. Got info. Used it. Hated it.
Creators hoarding info and banning public sharing isn’t the FPL I want.

🚨| NICOLAS JACKSON: YES, NICOLAS JACKSON
I’ve made the case for Evanilson. But there’s competition in that price bracket.
And a serious contender has emerged. 🧵⤵️
Some difficult away matches, but several attractive fixtures around them.
EVANILSON HAS COMPETITION. JACKSON IS FIRMLY IN THE CONVERSATION. 👀
End of the thread. If picking one I would have gone with Jackson.

Only Gyökeres has more key passes, with six… an interesting name to see leading that category.
Villa’s upcoming run includes Fulham at home, trips to Manchester City and Manchester United, Sunderland at home, Ipswich away, Everton and Crystal Palace at home, then Coventry away.
He carries the ball, links the attack and stays involved throughout Villa’s attacking moves.
He looks a different player.
Across the same three-Gameweek period, among forwards:
Second for shots: 11
Joint-second for goals: 3
Second for key passes: 5
The striker we once watched struggle for consistency at Chelsea is becoming Aston Villa’s talisman.
Two goals against Manchester City at home. 🔥
But it’s his overall involvement that has caught my attention…⤵️
🚨 Selling your Brighton assets? Read this first.
Liverpool defeat. Man City away next. The temptation to sell is obvious.
Here’s why I’m holding and why looking beyond the next fixture matters. 🧵👇
LOOK AT THE BIGGER PICTURE.
Brighton are a very good side. Treat them like one.
HOLD. ✅ #fpl #FPLCommunity
Vuskovic, Groß, De Cuyper, Kostoulas and Verbruggen all remain valuable options.
My GW7 advice was to avoid rushing into their defenders before this difficult stretch.
For existing owners, my advice is to hold through it.
Brighton remain second in the league for xG and continue to offer plenty of defensive appeal.
Manchester City away comes next. It’s another difficult fixture, but beyond it, the schedule becomes much more attractive.
These were their first goals conceded since GW3, following four consecutive clean sheets.
One defeat doesn’t erase that run.
That’s why we need to assess the performance alongside the result.
Against Liverpool:
1.35 xG created
0.87 xG conceded
To allow just 0.87 xG at Anfield is an outstanding defensive effort.
Brighton actually created the better chances by that measure.
BRIGHTON: KEEP YOUR ASSETS
•The Liverpool defeat doesn’t change my opinion.
In GW7, I highlighted LIV (A) → MCI (A) as a difficult stretch. A setback at Anfield was always possible…⤵️

▫️◾️ TOTTENHAM: THE DEFENSIVE IMPROVEMENT IS GOING UNDER THE RADAR
Here’s a statistic that deserves much more attention. 👀
Tottenham’s opening-day defeat at Brentford was ugly. A 3–0 loss. 3.87 xG conceded…⤵️
Tottenham’s difficult start may still be shaping how people view them.
The more recent numbers deserve a closer look.
I EXPECT MORE CLEAN SHEETS. SPURS’ DEFENCE IS ON MY RADAR. ✅

Three home games in five, with an appealing run overall.
Van Hecke and Van de Ven are both very interesting defensive picks for this stretch.
I really like what Roberto De Zerbi is building, and the upcoming fixtures give Tottenham an opportunity to turn those performances into more clean sheets:
CRY (H) → LEE (A) → IPS (H) → SUN (A) → FUL (H)
