Almost 2 years ago, I started a small newsletter: Zero subscribers. Today it’s: - #28 rising in technology on Substack - 20,000 free subscribers - 60 paying subscribers - $5,000+ ARR Not life-changing numbers yet, but proof that consistent writing compounds.

This week I saw my first Waymo in Madrid, and I felt like a kid who found a shiny pokémon

I'm surprised nobody realizes that this is only destroying wealth. Many of these shops will have to close. Others will spend money on repairs instead of expanding, hiring more people, and adding more value to citizens

Common productivity nerd advice was to "stick your hands to the keyboard and don't use the mouse". This has just transformed into "talk to the computer instead of typing"

I just remembered I still had a Gemini annual sub that I redeemed with my university email. It only took one prompt to close it. I'm so glad I bought ChatGPT/Claude and didn't stick with Gemini, even if I had it for free.

"Make my comment more engaging. Add a thoughtful question at the end" Just ask the AI to make you rich, why would you ask for petty things? Maybe I should forget about sharing excerpts from my articles on LinkedIn at all...

Thank you, Apple. Thanks to you, I used AI for longer because I burned the 5-hour window at 9:30 am Now I'm waking up my computer around 4am for a "hello" prompt on GPT 6 Luna every day

Dreamed today that GPT 5.7 was released. I don't know if I'm obsessed with AI or if I'm predicting the future. @sama make it happen

THE TOP GITHUB REPO IS A MARKDOWN FILE It's like if instead of shipping a package with a README, you only ship the README And that sounds ridiculous, until you realize what AI coding agents do before they touch your code. Wrote about it here: strategizeyourcareer.com/p/a…

CRITICAL AI SECURITY FLAW IN YOUR EDITOR Everyone is distracted by Claude Mythos. But software engineers are ignoring a bigger security risk sitting right inside their workspace. The real threat is not that AI is super smart.

I also use Claude Code to build a new feature. It's fast. But I realized it's tempting to give it too many permissions. If I make it download a skill from the internet and it has poisoned data, my assistant would execute without me reviewing... Pwned.

If your AI agent keeps failing and it's not ready for production, read this strategizeyourcareer.com/p/h… Harness engineering is the discipline that to make the AI reliable. Models are powerful enough. The missing part is guardrails

This is not the way, Anthropic! 🙅‍♂️ If you sell something and it's unusable, don't blame it on customers. CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT OpenAI is taking so much advantage of Anthropic's bad communication decisions.. I'm sure @sama and @thsottiaux are having so much fun

We’re all like the image, looking while AI is working But somehow some people’s AI work better than other people’s AIs The difference is not the model, it is how you steer it. To be the productive engineer and make your AI actually do what you want, I wrote a short guide 👇
