Finished my PoR Hard Mode Level 25 run, which was kind of miserable. Yet... it's fully shown me how much I love this game. Even when I'm sick of getting 2-shot by everything, I'm just enthralled by how charming it is. There's so much character in every single thing here
I think it's between Belmont's Curse and MIO. Mina the Hollower is close as well but I think I like it a little less than the other two

this concept for deaths card is so cool but it makes dracula look SO little, i'm endeared by him looking small
Currently in my Castlevania replay era but I lowkey wanna finally tackle some game on my huge backlog. Maybe Kingdom Hearts
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia ✅
This is the most unexpected title I have ever played, I went in with no expectations of even it's concept and having finished it now, it is one of the best video games I've ever had the joy of experiencing, I am truly in love with it.
Are we missing how obsessed Mathias was with Leon in LoI? Of course he'd inflict a worse punishment on the guy he personally knew (and loved) than Soleil, Simon, or Richter
So, Dracula had the power to just turn a Belmont into a monster to join his side all along, sounds a bit stupid on his part no to try that trick again, especially counting we know he had at least 2 more Belmont’s under his influence in later eras, but alright👌🏻 they really wanted Leon to be speaking to us during this game uh
There's no way Castlevania fans weren't mad asf when this game came out. At least Graham acted like Dracula. Instead we got chud, chudder, and chudette
Tbh almost every Metroidvania I've played I kinda wished had more platforming. And then the ones that are more platforming heavy tend to do it in a way that I don't find very fun. So yeah, I'm very happy with how BC did things but I know it's not for everyone
I am surprised by how polarizing Belmont's Curse is. I was really expecting it to be one of those games that people like but don’t love. Instead it seems like a good chunk of people HATE it. It's fun when a game is this divisive tho. Makes me realize how my tastes differ
I must admit that when people insult the things that I like, it lowkey does feel like an affront to my character but I gotta remind myself that it's fr not that serious
Was thinking about playing zeroranger but then I saw my friend's save file get erased for dying to the final boss #imgood✌️
My Castlevania oomfs have probably seen me talk a lot of shit about Dawn of Sorrow, but it was the third Castlevania I ever played and was actually the game that made me realize that I was falling in love with the series. The love is coming back now that I've started a new run
I think my disappointment with the story and the final boss really soured my last experience with the game. Plus I was really really eager to play Order of Ecclesia and just going through a pretty rough time when I played it.
