Pre Mainnet Staking by GenLayer is a smart way to make the waiting period count.
From THE DAY, any unclaimed GEN airdrop is automatically treated as staked, allowing it to collect Staking Points while remaining locked until mainnet.
This gives early participants a chance to build points without needing extra steps or waiting for the full network launch.
I think there is room to make this even more interesting with loyalty bonuses, milestone rewards, and incentives for long-term participation.
A transparent points dashboard would also help users track progress and understand how their participation contributes to future benefits.
The bigger idea is simple: reward early supporters, maintain engagement, and build a stronger community before mainnet arrives.
If executed well, this could make the transition from airdrop to mainnet more rewarding.

One transaction, one fresh address.
There's an important security recommendation in the DAC Yellow Paper that users shouldn't overlook.
@dac_chain uses Entropy-Padded Transactions (EPT) to keep transaction details encrypted during broadcast.
However, once a transaction is finalized, its entropy is revealed and the transaction becomes publicly auditable. This also exposes the sender's public key.
That's why DAC recommends generating a fresh address for every transaction.
The idea is simple.
• Avoid reusing previously spent addresses.
• Limit long-term exposure of public keys.
• Protect future funds from potential key exposure.
Privacy during transmission matters, but protecting your wallet after confirmation matters too.
Small habits can make a meaningful difference in blockchain security.
That's one detail I found interesting about DAC's approach to quantum-resistant transactions.
