Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei says US power is in “irreversible decline.”
“America’s waning power and dominance have suffered an irreversible decline, and the process of its collapse has accelerated,” he said in a message marking Iran’s National Day of Struggle Against Global Arrogance, per state-linked Mehr news agency. He added that both US military strength and its global soft power have weakened.
It’s part of a wave of Iranian officials taking a victory lap after Republicans’ midterm losses:

Oil has been flowing out of the Strait of Hormuz at pre-war levels from months. But prices never went down. The day after the election the Dow Jones gains 1500 points and oil drops by $10 a barrel. And it's being reported that by next week it will be under $4 a gallon. This was never about the war with iran. This was Big Oil, suits on Wall Street and other dark Forces keeping everything up until after the election. And they couldn't help themselves by celebrating yesterday. You all got played.

It’s funny how the price of US crude oil dropped 8.3% the day after the election. No cease fire with Iran, no peace treaty, just an election.
They were in such a hurry to make themselves look good, they didn’t realize it really just shows they were controlling the price of oil all along. Whoops!
