I am a zoomer, I talk to boomers a lot because most truckers are older than dirt. It always intrigued me how much trust boomers seem to have in everything. For a significant amount of time, the structure of the world was set up in such a way that they could trust everything. Their pensions would arrive, their housing would be affordable, their neighbors would not steal from them. I have always been skeptical because nothing has ever been true. Politicians admit I will never collect Social Security, they admit that they want to inflate home prices, they import people who are not trustworthy. I assume that everyone and everything is lying to me. Because they are. So, for how long will zoomers continue to perpetuate a system that has betrayed us? The answer is not very long, it’s already happening as we opt out. Soon, with the right timing and momentum, it will be explosive.
