Today is the official end date of The Battle of Britain, 544 Brave young men paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, and many others who were sadly injured and lived with their scars for the rest of their lives, and not forgetting everyone who supported our boys Thank you – at Easton, England

The UK Government has betrayed the people who are represented & are remembered by this monument.
From 1939 they came from across the world, different beliefs, religions and backgrounds and in 1940 they dealt the first blow to the spread of Facist-Nazi rule across Europe.
They fought and died under summer skies, for our freedom and yours.
That Freedom of Speech must not be an excuse to legitimise Vandalism, Violence or disrespect.
