You mean like the Man City team bankrolled by 2 billion?
You’re the team who have won nearly everything the past decade, preventing others from competing.
You’re the establishment.
You’re the cartel.

The club taking legal action against Jamie Carragher for this is genuinely one of the most embarrassing things I’ve seen.
I cannot see what case they have against him. He’s an individual stating an opinion.
Truly embarrassing in my opinion (if I’m allowed to have one without legal action) #avfc

Ashley, I've seen some spectacularly stupid takes on City's case, but dismissing an independent disciplinary tribunal as "three blokes of unknown expertise giving their opinion" is right up there.
Let's introduce you to a little thing called the legal system.
Firstly, the commission wasn't three random blokes selected from the queue at the Etihad's half-empty pie stand.
The three commissioners were appointed through the Premier League's independent Judicial Panel, chaired at the time by Murray Rosen KC.
Who is Murray Rosen KC, you ask?
An experienced King's Counsel, sports arbitrator and Deputy High Court judge.
Not exactly Dave from the pub who's watched a few episodes of Judge Rinder.
The Judicial Panel consists of legal, financial and other specialists, and the commission hearing City's charges was required to include financial expertise.
The individual commissioners' names have been redacted from the published decision. So we cannot independently examine all three CVs. But claiming they're three unqualified blokes is something you've invented, not something you've established.
Now here's where your argument really falls apart.
A disciplinary tribunal doesn't have to be a criminal court to deliver a legally binding decision under the applicable rules.
City voluntarily participate in the Premier League and are subject to its regulations, disciplinary procedures and appeal mechanisms.
The commission heard extensive evidence, examined financial arrangements, considered legal arguments and delivered formal findings. Those findings aren't just three people having a chat over a packet of Hobnobs.
And your grand plan of taking everything to a "real court"?
Brilliant. Except the High Court isn't a giant VAR screen where City can demand the entire match be replayed because they didn't like the referee's decision.
Court challenges to arbitration decisions are subject to specific legal grounds and restrictions. They aren't an automatic rehearing of the facts.
City have every right to appeal. They have every right to challenge findings through the proper legal channels.
But the existence of an appeal doesn't make the original tribunal incompetent, biased or illegitimate.
And perhaps the funniest part is that you're confidently questioning the expertise of people appointed through an established legal process while displaying absolutely no understanding of that process yourself.
You don't know who the three commissioners are. Neither do I, because their names were redacted.
The difference is that I'm not pretending their anonymity proves incompetence.
You appear to believe that unless three judges arrive wearing wigs and carrying gavels, the entire thing is just an opinion.
That's not legal analysis, Ashley. That's a football supporter trying to turn denial into a constitutional principle.
City can appeal the decision.
Unfortunately, there's no appeals process for making an absolute show of yourself on Twitter. 😂

I’ll bite because idiots like this are either clueless or playing dumb.
The system isn’t rigged for the big clubs, it demands that’s everything is done fairly with no cheating & there is not better example than Arsenal Football Club.
When Arteta took over we were in our knees with a maxed out wage bill, older demotivated squad & no CL income while Liverpool & City were stat padding in a piss poor league.
We spent the next few years gutting the squad, getting in control of the wage bill & rebuilding the club from top to bottom spending money WE EARNED, it wasn’t done quickly, it took a lot of time and within 3 years we over took Liverpool & after 4 years, we over took City which culminated in us finishing above them twice and winning the PL.
No cheating, no rushing, just good old fashioned squad building at a steady pace with a lot of pain along the way spending money we were allowed to spend and money we earned.
The system never held us back, we worked within the rules & overtook both.
Idiots like this complaining about a system because they just want to cheat their way through it, the day they are sanctioned will be the greatest day of all.

Proven cheats disrespecting Sir Alex is vile!
Sir Alex Ferguson’s legendary 1990-2001 run at Man United was pure dominance. 21 trophies in 11 years:
🏆 7x Premier League
🏆 4x FA Cup
🏆 1x League Cup
🛡️ 5x Charity Shield
🇪🇺 1x Champions League
🇪🇺 1x Cup Winners’ Cup
🌍 1x Super Cup & 1x Intercontinental Cup
Led United to the first "Double Double" (League & FA Cup in '94 & '96) and made them the first-ever English team to win the historic Treble in 1999!
All this without systemetic cheating, sham sponsorship deals and as the 10th highest spender in England, plus Leagues like Serie A had much more money than English clubs in this era🐐
Luke and City fans must stop talking like they are winners or achievements anything, they are proven cheats!
"I don't think you can select any eight, nine or 10 year period, within that Ferguson reign, that is as dominant..."
Why City's decade with Pep was the most dominant period in Premier League history! 🏆

Manchester City Breaking rules.
It has taken the authorities over years to conclude that Manchester city are GUILTY of breaking rules.
However the authorities have NOT imposed the punishment.
When Spurs were found guilty of breaking rules the punishment was imposed immediately. 12 point deduction, a ban from the FA Cup and a £600,000 fine.
My point being is that Man city have not had any punishments imposed and are free to carry on playing. In the case of Spurs and Everton the points were immediately deducted in the appropriate season.
Its simple. The rules are you are guilty and here is the punishment. The punishment should be implemented immediately . The process of appeal can then follow.
