Like this, right? 1 square mile can comfortably fit 800,000+ people. Imagine if entire cities were actually walkable, instead of this concrete & asphalt we get stone walkways, mulch in some places. Centers all around that we can walk to.

How simple it would be to return to this world — These days, we get a faster, performative version of this. Just slow the world down and actually return. *° Nostos °*

There's something very familiar about the Gosper Curve.
A space-filling curve is one unbroken line through every point of a square, the limit of paths through finer and finer grids. Each cell repeats an L-system rule: F draws a step, + and − turn. Level n of the Hilbert curve visits each of the 4ⁿ cells of a 2ⁿ × 2ⁿ grid once, its length 2ⁿ − 2⁻ⁿ nearly doubling each level inside the unit square. The Koch snowflake and the Sierpiński arrowhead never fill an area: their dimensions are log 4/log 3 ≈ 1.26 and log 3/log 2 ≈ 1.58. Giuseppe Peano found the first in 1890, and David Hilbert drew a simpler one in 1891.

A neurologist once told me: “Stick out your tongue for 40 seconds removes cortisol faster than any pills and breathing exercises.” 1. Your neck is what's keeping you anxious.

This is all part of making the world more 3 Dimensional. We filter out unchanging things. We require a deviation from 0 or we slip all day long. Friction is proof of life.
I'm fascinated by the rise of frictionmaxxing as a response to a frictionless life. We engineer away inconvenience, only to discover that some of the friction we removed was part of what made life feel alive in the first place

Bc when you lick around your lips the tip of your tongue (barely) leaves saliva around the lining of your lips. Once you feel your lips dry again you can feel the lining of your lips dry af too , you lick them again and then the saliva goes outside the lip lining so on and so forth before you know it, it’s way out there I know this NOW. Lol
