If China creates an easier pathway to permanent residency (not citizenship) just PR, offers incentives for foreign investment and leverages its already established housing market with low property prices that attract foreign buyers, it could become the go to place in Asia.
For investors, the talent pool in China is vast, encompassing hardware, software, and hospitality sectors.
Lastly, China’s reputation as a safe country makes it an appealing choice for families, particularly parents seeking a secure country to raise their children.
I had to rewatch the 1st 10 seconds of this because I couldn’t believe the words coming out of this lady’s mouth.
This is the problem: people clueless about a topic will spew nonsense with so much confidence and truly believe it.

I’m not concerned about my TV taking 30,000 screenshots of my viewing. I don’t watch weird stuff.

I got to see some really cool stuff being done at Vonage, and the project demos from the attendees are just what I need to get excited for the next one.
Ouch!!! I accidentally made a fix request in Cursor agent mode with Opus 5.5 as the model.
I was under the impression it was using Claude 5.5.
I should have been more careful, and it ended up costing me 21% of my usage.
I removed Opus so fast after that.

Dear Street Fighter fans, we might need to create a word of mouth movement similar to the one from the 1978 Halloween movie.
The movie initially did poorly until word of mouth helped it succeed. If fans don’t support it, we might not see another SF in 20+ years.
