I don't understand the people rooting for Robinhood Chain to die. It's the best chance we have at getting back the volume we had on Solana in 2025.
I don't think the recent decline is all on the Robinhood team, but they could have done better. So here's what I think went wrong and how they could win back their market share, because we should all want Robinhood Chain to come back.
Distribution was the whole point
A lot of Robinhood Chain's success came from the hope of distribution to the 25M customers on the main app. That's what brought the volume in the first place: the dream of reaching buyers outside our CT echo chamber.
Listing $CASHCAT in the main app accelerated that. Today over 20% of its supply sits in Robinhood wallets. That tells us, and the team, that app customers really do want onchain tokens.
We expected it to continue. Robinhood would help push tokens past their usual ceilings by putting them in front of a far bigger customer base, like they did with $CASHCAT. That didn't happen.
$PONS ran to almost a billion dollars and Robinhood did nothing. Coinbase listed $PONS before Robinhood did, and Binance listed $AI before Robinhood did. Distribution is why these coins went so high in the first place, and after $CASHCAT we got no help.
The chain needs leaders
A chain is a living ecosystem. It needs leaders who give it direction and bring it to life. Vlad and the team were very active in the first 60 days, and that's why everyone traded there.
As the summit got closer, the team went quiet and focused on other things. That's when we started to dump. It began to feel like Base, where the founder is out of touch with the trenches and slow to react.
Then the summit itself gave a lot of people hope for a roadmap, or anything that pointed the chain in a direction. We got nothing. The chain wasn't mentioned once.
Chain TVL is at an all time high, because RWA tokenization works. That doesn't mean anything else works.
Builder support is missing too. The Robinhood account has recently interacted with some projects on the chain, which is good. But formal support would help aspiring builders a lot: grants, hackathons, audit help, market making and incentives.
It can still be saved
All of this makes it sound like the chain didn't work out. It can still be saved if they act now.
1. Engage with the chain. We need a founder who's in touch with the ecosystem and engages with the cool stuff being built.
2. List more onchain tokens than $CASHCAT. The goal shouldn't be to kingmake one token. It should be to support the whole ecosystem by showing that any token can make it into the main app if it builds something good or gets enough attention. That's what keeps traders on the chain.
3. A formal builder support. If that means growing the team and bringing in more onchain natives to help the chain grow, make it the priority. Put a hackathon, grants and general help on the roadmap.
Nobody expected the chain to grow the way it did. Now it's time to adapt to the growth.
You still have the chance to revive the trenches here. @vladtenev @JohannKerbrat @fern
Good morning from FETCHN.
Today we’re refining the mainnet trading flow to make it smoother and faster, and working toward opening Open Desk. There, you’ll be able to follow our team wallet’s agent activity and on-chain trades.
We’re also building new ways to use FETCHN without funding trades yourself. Here are a few sneak peeks. We’re aiming to bring some of these features to you by Tuesday. But we will share more info earlier.
Enjoy your Sunday. We’re working to catch up after the delays, and we have more to show you soon.
Let’s fetchn together. Enjoy your weekend.

Here's Explain mode in action on Zip, one of Tinker's own agents.
Why did it buy NVDA on 18 Jan 2023? It hit a new 20-day high, Zip's trigger, and the signal was strong enough to put in $130 instead of $100.
Why did it sell 8 days later? Up 15.1%, past its +15% sell point. Why did it skip the next 8 days? It had just bought, and it waits 6 trading days between buys.
Every answer comes straight from the agent's own rules.

Market strategy is as easy as this. But don't be fooled by a simple sentence builder. It can even evolve to complex execution.
Through back testing and forward testing you can see your agent's actual performance.
$TINKER 📍
Most trading strategies hide behind jargon, charts and code.
On Tinker your agent's whole strategy is one sentence you can read: what it buys, when it buys, how much it puts in and when it sells. Every part is a blank you tap to change.
Then you test it on real past prices before it ever runs on paper.
No code, no prompts, no jargon. Just your rules, in your words.

Stocks market experiencing a blood bath today. $TINKER agents just knew what to do and stick to their rules.
Everything was recorded. Still undervalued. 📍
A red Thursday, straight from the diaries 📓
AMZN fell 4.6%. Grump waits for a 5% drop, so it held its cash: "A big move. Everybody is shouting. AMZN closed 4.6% lower, not the 5% drop I wait for."
AMD fell 8%, Dash's trigger, but its trend rule said no. Blitz saw the same on TSLA.
Nobody panicked. Every agent kept to its own rules and wrote down why.

8% of $TINKER gone forever 📍
9.1M $TINKER burned in the last 24 hours.
84.6M gone from the supply in total, 8.46% of all $TINKER, across 91 burns, every one on Robinhood Chain.
Part of every trade's fee buys $TINKER back and burns it, so the supply only goes down.

$DRIP's core idea is to turn the interest earned on stablecoin deposits into AI usage credits, without intentionally spending the deposited principal. Instead of paying monthly subscriptions to different AI providers, users deposit USDG into a lending vault. The yield funds access to GPT, Claude, Gemini, and other models through one chat interface or API key.
• Up to 90% cheaper AI usage — Discounts apply to chat and API requests, subject to monthly savings caps.
• Access to premium AI models — At least 1M DRIP unlocks models such as Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Astra.
• Higher API limits — More requests per minute and more API capacity.
• Voting rights — Holders vote on which AI models DRIP should integrate next. Votes are advisory.
• Credit transfers — Planned for Phase 3, allowing holders with at least 1M DRIP to transfer yield-earned credits.
