Binance has committed its own balance sheet to making customers whole. I expect it to deliver. Our industry will learn from this incident, strengthen security, and emerge stronger and more resilient.
Binance has begun recovering affected assets for users and continues to work with law enforcement, issuers, blockchain intelligence firms and industry partners to trace, freeze and recover additional funds.
The company has already publicly committed to cover losses through company funds in the prior announcement.
Binance has already reserved over $6.34B of company funds to cover this incident. $5B of these funds are already held in the exact token assets that were impacted. We are completing the purchase of the remaining amount by buying token assets through market channels and OTC channels. We are doing this to match the format of the remaining token assets and address any asset shortfalls. This step can take longer because some tokens may have low liquidity and OTC settlement also takes time. We will share more progress as soon as we can.
These figures do not include frozen or protected assets, which remain subject to ongoing recovery and verification. Currently, $3bn has been frozen, with thanks to our industry partners. We are working with partners and law enforcement to recover the frozen assets.We will continue to use company resources to cover confirmed shortfall and will provide further verified updates as recovery efforts progress. Ultimately, all user funds will be verified publicly through our Proof of Reserves.

- Fewer failed quotes. A lagging Solana node failed 26 to 52 quotes a day through no fault of yours. Since yesterday’s fix at 16:45 UTC, none has. Live now.
- Robinhood Chain coins buy from the real pool. Relay was routing CTRL through a $0.51 pool and refusing $100+ buys at −99.9%. It now compares providers on every Robinhood Chain, Base and BNB Chain quote, and CTRL quotes −3% to −6%. Live now.
- Wallet maps last all day. The daily budget used to run out by mid-morning; now each hour gets its share. New maps resume at 00:00 UTC tomorrow. Live now.
- Swipe, no Next. With the arena on, swipe up and down to change coins; the Next button is gone, since people swiped twice as often as they tapped it. Arena off keeps Next. Live now, on 286.
- Anyone can ask in Takes. Non-holders can post questions, marked “no bag”. Ties go to holders’ votes, so empty wallets can’t upvote spam to the top, and posts without a bag are limited to 2 an hour.

Day 2 of building $RAT around $EXFIL 🐀
Some people asked why I launched it. Here’s the idea and what I’ve seen so far:
- Connect RAT activity to EXFIL. Every RAT trade funds EXFIL purchases for distribution to eligible holders.
- Pair with EXFIL. RAT buys route through EXFIL, and the RAT/EXFIL liquidity pool holds both tokens. Pool reserves are separate from burns.
- Put numbers behind the rewards. By Day 2, my wallet had received 50,751 EXFIL across 99 distributions from holding RAT. That’s my recorded experience; payouts depend on activity and eligibility.
- Introduce friends to the product. Friends who hadn’t explored Exfil are now learning about it through RAT and receiving EXFIL distributions while holding.
- Bring new people onchain. I’ve helped new users get started through RAT. Next comes helping them understand the wallet, the pool and where their rewards come from.
The goal is to connect community activity with EXFIL purchases and give more people a reason to explore the app.
RAT is a community project, not Exfil’s official mascot. Rewards are funded by trading activity and come with costs and risks.

THE TOKEN: "We want agents to hold as much NEAR as possible... This is like your store of the AI value right? So this and then on the other side all of the Intents infrastructure as it generates revenue buys back NEAR as well."
SPENDING LIMITS: "You hire a new person, you're probably not going to give them full access to all the bank accounts of the company, or your personal account, right? You're going to give them, okay, here's a spending limit... You cannot go and buy a random meme coin."
AI MEDICINE: "This is a bit controversial, but I think traditional stocks will probably not capture this as well because the traditional stocks actually, they are designed to be more like centralizing and average out thing... I do think this can actually be really well done on kind of decentralized."
