I genuinely hope Bluesky manages to stay up and running for a good long while. If it goes bankrupt or completely fails in some other way, it's gonna be like when Tumblr banned porn: the absolute toxic mess that is it's users will spill back onto other platforms.

Ah. Yeah. It's crazy (and a bit pathetic) that these people are trying to start some sort of victim narrative conflict in basically the single most accepting space in human history for them. If there were any actual reasonable fear about backlash from Christians, then they wouldn't hunt the ones that have never given them a single problem above all.

Only some. I have non-religious and gay friends who will still hold honest conversation about mature subjects and I value them highly. I guess this post is somewhat about hopefully finding a few more.

Exactly. It's not like I have spent 25 years as a furry artist somehow not interacting with gay people. I can't even imagine how small my friend group would be if I specifically only cared about talking to people with the exact same beliefs as me. These people really don't understand how amazing it is to have a deep, honest conversation with someone who doesn't see the world the same way as we do, and that's sad.

What these people either forget, or are probably too young/insulated to even realize, is that furry Christians have been a thing as long as furries have. We had Sunday morning church panels at many cons when I used to attend. Christian furries aren't making anyone less welcome.
