I missed this. Hal Ruzal - stepping down from the wrench at Bicycle Habitat to go to New Mexico - is a bona fide cycling legend of NYC. Nothing was better than bringing in some random clunker and getting Hal’s approval. Best wishes to his next act. NYC won’t be the same!
Today was #nycbike superhero Hal Ruzal's last day as @BicycleHabitat chief mechanic. For 42 yrs he kept me in the saddle & my bikes on the road, ditto for 000's of others. "You contain multitudes," I told him today when I bid him goodbye & happy travels & good life in New Mexico.
