The grey "Official" badge has now been canned by Elon Musk.
So, there are two checkmarks now - One the solid blue for paying users and a separate "official" tag applied to previously verified accounts to avoid impersonation. This is terrible UX

Hope we don't end up overtightening monetary policy and strangle growth. Cutting down on investment in housing supply, energy storage and supplies, roads and rails to balance the books is short termism of the worst kind.

We're in a bad situation. But it's not sustainable to keep increasing pensioner benefits whilst working age households (where taxes are predominantly raised- appropriately so) face real terms income cuts of -5% this year, -5% next year and -2% year after.

CONFIRMED: Jeremy Hunt is the new chancellor He'll be announced shortly at Liz Truss's press conference
Multiple sources are now telling me that Jeremy Hunt will be the new chancellor, although I’ve not had official confirmation yet It’s being complicated by the fact he’s out of the country Hunt was one of Sunak’s most prominent backers

The issue with LDIs is not about solvency, but liquidity. They are actually making a profit right now. Thread 👇
A LOT has been written about LDIs, but I haven’t seen much about actual numbers. How much money are we talking about exactly ? Is there a pension black hole ? Here are a few estimates. You might be surprised.
