To my fellow #wafc fans I'm just one supporter. I have no experience in the football industry. I'm not an agent, broker, investor or representative of Wigan Athletic. I'm simply someone who loves this club and wants to see us back where we belong. With the club open to investment/a potential sale, I've been spending countless hours trying to do something — anything — that might help put Wigan Athletic in front of someone who could see our potential. I've been contacting people involved in sport, MLS, football ownership and investment, trying to connect our club with people who may be able to help shape its future. ( yes it sounds stupid and to many it probably is, although LinkedIn is a powerful tool) I have absolutely no financial interest in doing this. I'm not looking for anything from it. I just want the right people to see our club through our eyes. We've been through enough. But we've also achieved things that many clubs could only dream of. Premier League football. The FA Cup. Europe. And generations of supporters who never stopped believing. I genuinely believe there is another great chapter waiting to be written. So I'm trying to help find whoever might be able to write it with us. Maybe it leads somewhere. Maybe it doesn't. Infact it probably wont as again im a nobody but a fan.
