What do today's development in the Josh Jacobs case mean for his return to the field?
This is the first movement we've had in the case in quite a while, so let's talk about what this means in a new #FFLegalUpdate.

I get this question a lot.
Felonious assault has qualifiers, the most common ones being serious physical harm or use of a weapon.
Throwing someone to the ground or otherwise assaulting someone can be, legally, misdemeanor-level conduct while nevertheless creating an awful video.
Watching Jacobs assault a female on video is optically about as bad as it can get for him and the NFL, but the actual legal definition of what’s on the video may be on the lower end of the spectrum.
#FFLegalUpdate
@DrewDavenportFF any chance you could clear up one question? Everyone is worried the video is bad and will cause Jacobs to be out longer, but if the video is so bad, why was he only charged with a misdemeanor?
