Exactly! If God created everything, why would He need material possessions from us? Worship and gratitude should come from the heart, not fear, manipulation, or pressure from people claiming to speak on His behalf. Our Faith should bring us closer to God.

I have never seen Kalenjins attack William Ruto the way some Kambas are being encouraged to attack Kalonzo Musyoka.
I never saw Kikuyus turn against Gachagua in the same manner.
I have never seen Luos wage a sustained political war against Raila Odinga.
I have seen communities close ranks around their leaders, even when they disagree with them.
Dear Kambas, do not let Ruto's money turn you against your own political father.
You can disagree with Kalonzo Musyoka, but do not allow money to make you insult the man who has carried your community's political aspirations for decades.
Someone once told me that Ruto said a hungry dog, once properly fed, can turn against its own master. That is the dangerous game William Ruto is testing in Ukambani: whether money and political favours can turn Kambas against Kalonzo Musyoka.
Remember, Ruto has seen how political loyalties shifted against Uhuru Kenyatta among sections of the Kikuyu community and how Kalenjins turned against Moi. Now he wants to know whether he can reproduce the same script in Ukambani.
Kambas, think beyond today's money.
Political handouts disappear, but the consequences of destroying your own political foundation can last for generations.
You do not have to agree with Kalonzo on everything, but do not become instruments in another man's political war against him.
You can receive development without selling your political conscience.
You can criticise Kalonzo without joining those determined to humiliate him.
Do not sell tomorrow's political inheritance for today's money.
When the money runs out, you will still be Kambas, and Kalonzo will still be your political leader.
Protect your son help us guard him Jelously. Protect your political voice. Never allow another man's money to turn you against your own.

Kirinyaga has given us a welcome I will not forget.
From Kiamutugu to Ngurubani in Mwea, you came out in your numbers, and you told me plainly what is weighing on you. The rice farmers of Mwea are struggling. Families everywhere are being squeezed by the cost of living. This is the work of the predator regime over the past four years. Enough is enough!
That is why I will keep building the United Alternative Government-in-Waiting. The predator regime thrives when we are divided, so this is the time to stand as one.
Thank you, Kirinyaga, for your prayers, your hospitality and your trust.

If you oppose Paul Kagame, and you run to another country, he follows you there and kills you right there. He killed someone in South Africa and Germany... Today, he followed a former Army General, Robert Kabera, 50, beheaded him in Uganda and had his people carry the head back to Kigali...

President William Ruto’s brother, Paul Ruto, who reportedly lives in a small mud house in Kamagut, Eldoret North, has opened up about the alleged source of their family feud.
Paul says their differences began over the division of their ancestral land following their father’s death.
He reportedly survives on casual jobs, including digging on other people’s farms and construction work, while his children struggle with school fees.
His biggest pain? Watching his wealthy brother give millions to strangers while he continues to struggle.

Even on Mashujaa Day, the chief abductor and his squad are still at work, targeting innocent Kenyans.
I have learnt with great concern of the unconstitutional and arbitrary arrest of Francis Ode, a renowned Citizen TV journalist, alongside activists who were protesting against the recent fuel price hikes in Nairobi.
While the President spends hours addressing and lying to Kenyans during Mashujaa Day celebrations, his Predator Regime is busy arresting journalists and activists for exercising their constitutional rights.
Article 33 of our Constitution guarantees freedom of expression, Article 34 protects freedom of the media, while Article 37 expressly guarantees every Kenyan the right to assemble, demonstrate, picket and present petitions peacefully and unarmed.
These are fundamental constitutional rights, not privileges granted at the pleasure of those in power.
It is deeply shameful that on a day when we honour the heroes who fought for our freedoms, those very freedoms continue to come under attack.
Kenya is a constitutional democracy, not a police state. No regime is above the Constitution!

99% of women and girls in Somalia have been mutilated in the following way: the clitoris is cut off, along with the inner labia. Then the inner flesh of the outer labia is removed before both sides are sewn tightly together, leaving a hole no bigger than a matchstick for urine and menses to trickle through.
All of this is done in childhood, and without any form of anesthesia whatsoever. Sometimes the little girl is given a scrap of leather or a stick to bite down on. The cutters use old razor blades, or sometimes a piece of broken glass.
This is only the beginning of a girl’s pain.
Most wedding nights in Somalia are aided by “the little knife” — that is, the new husband slices his bride open so that he can penetrate her now cut and bleeding scar tissue. Some men, however, simply batter their way through, tearing that tiny hole open by sheer force. When a woman goes into labor, she’s cut open more widely, then sewn back up afterwards so that when sex resumes she will have to be cut open yet again.
This practice leads to countless deaths from infection and a drastic increase in maternal mortality, but Somali men still refuse to marry uncut women, forcing mothers to have their daughters cut or face social stigma. Uncut girls are seen as dirty; the term for clitoris is a playground taunt in Somalia, and girls who are not cut are usually ostracized by their peers.
The Somali government recently debated the legality of this appalling custom, and the parliament largely split along gender lines. Female MPs roundly condemned FGM, while male MPs insisted that having a clitoris made a woman more difficult to penetrate, and quoted the hadith in which Muhammad condoned the practice. These are educated men who nevertheless claim that cutting a girl is necessary in order to control her sexuality, and that an uncut woman will be promiscuous and untrustworthy.
In spite of the Somali government’s continued support for FGM, foreign aid continues to flow into Somalia unobstructed. The West should refuse to give the Somali government so much as a single dollar until they outlaw FGM and take positive steps to combat the problem.
One tactic that has been highly successful involves showing Somali men a video of a girl being mutilated. Because FGM is seen as women’s business, most men have no idea what it entails. Men who watch this video are horrified, and the most common reaction has been “Not my daughter!” This proves that FGM is not hopelessly entrenched in Somali culture. Western pressure and resources could make an enormous difference in the lives of Somali women and girls, and put a stop to this barbaric practice.

KALONZO — THE TRANSITIONAL PRESIDENT
Kenya needs experience, integrity, constitutionalism and national unity.
As Kibaki’s Vice President, Kalonzo served during a period of significant economic growth. As Foreign Affairs Minister, he represented Kenya internationally and was involved in regional peace efforts, including South Sudan and Somalia.
His political experience, legal background and long service in public office form the basis of his case for the presidency.
As a senior lawyer, he would be expected to scrutinise legislation carefully, uphold the Constitution and protect Kenyans from harmful provisions hidden in bills.
Kenya needs leadership that puts public interest above personal enrichment, respects the rule of law and confronts corruption through accountable institutions.
Kalonzo’s pitch is simple: EXPERIENCE. INTEGRITY. STABILITY. NATIONAL RECONCILIATION.
The question is whether he can translate that record into the reforms and accountable leadership Kenya urgently needs.
