Excited to share a historic milestone for refugee protection in Jordan! 🇯🇴 UNHCR refugee documentation and Ministry of Interior Service Card data have now been successfully integrated into Jordan’s national SANAD e-government portal — making Jordan the first country in the Middle East to enable refugees to access a unified national digital platform. Registered refugees can now securely view their official documentation (MOI Service Cards and UNHCR documents) and access a growing range of government services. This represents a major leap forward in refugee protection, digital inclusion, and self-reliance. Sincere thanks to MoDEE, Ministry of Interior, World Bank, and the dedicated UNHCR team who worked tirelessly for nearly two years to make this a reality. #Sanad #DigitalInclusion #RefugeeProtection #Jordan #UNHCR

Amid limited resources, this solution increases efficiency, reduces administrative burdens on both refugees and staff, and promotes greater autonomy and dignity for those we serve.
