I’m not leaving Twitter — not yet, anyway — but I’m going to try and make a go of it over on Mastodon. Find me at [email protected].

My latest story is an important one in all this Twitter drama: I talked to The Iconfactory co-founder @gedeon this week about Twitterrific’s demise and what it means to the disability community, as well as what it means for accessibility at Twitter.

The ban on third-party Twitter clients has severely impaired my ability to read (or even see) all mentions/replies directed at this account. Please consider following mastodon.social/@siracusa on Mastodon instead.

Your reminder that House Republicans fervently support the GOP Member of Congress purportedly known as George Santos. @HouseGOP seated him on two committees and allowed him access to classified information.
Santos lied about his mother’s death in connection with 9/11.
Rep. George Santos's campaign website says his mother was in the South Tower on 9/11, but immigration records indicate she wasn’t even in the U.S. on that day.
He previously wrote that “9/11 claimed my mothers life”; she actually died in 2016. washingtonpost.com/politics/…

Twitter is enforcing its long-standing API rules. That may result in some apps not working.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Currently it's all major third party clients not some. Also, it is unknown what long standing rules have been broken as no guidance has been provided to any API partner. And as the tweet notes, these rules have not changed.

It must have been very embarrassing for you to write this tweet. If you need help getting a new job, feel free to contact me. I helped create the original Twitter API and know a lot of people who can give you a better job with a boss who respects developers and employees.
