“The institutional American right is fully captured & anyone who criticizes them or runs afield..will be targeted for destruction.”
“Evangelicalism” provides disposable masses
The “elite right” networks & amplifies messaging
TechBros fund it all
Simple as.
Summary of this week is so ridiculous it’s hard to believe:
NatCon flies out a handful of authoritarian post-libs to Jerusalem where they spend October 7 essentially saying “American Christians don’t like Jews or Israel anymore and we don’t care about the Holocaust or your suffering, so stop calling people antisemites.”
The speeches were bland and uninspired and almost all read verbatim from an iPad while the speakers looked down almost the entire time. (I suspect they didn’t want to look up at the faces of Israelis that they were reading this crap to). Who knows who wrote the speeches but they were boring and absolutely cringe as hell in the context of 10/7.
A woman named Amanda was one of those people, although she repeatedly said “I’m not an antisemite, I love Israel, I’m a Jew,” while saying it. But she just said all the same stuff William Wolfe and the other speakers said. And then on the same day, she updated her cover photo to one of her standing outside the former office of a man who famously opposed the creation of the state of Israel. Again, on October 7.
Again, ick.
Lindsay, along with a lot of normal people, watched this whole spectacle with a lot of disgust and expressed how distasteful it all was. Because James Lindsay was the largest and most influential account expressing concerns, he was targeted, and targeted HARD.
A full court press cancellation campaign began, with many of us caught in the crosshairs, in the receiving end of slurs, lies, mischaracterizations and more.
But no one had been slandered or hammered harder than James Lindsay, who DARED call out NatCon for being gross on October 7 and parading a bunch of creeps to mechanically read these cringe speeches to a room full of Israelis on the anniversary of the worst tragedy and antisemitic event in their entire national history.
Meanwhile, Tucker is like “Horses are kinda hot” and NONE of these people care. There is no outrage, no articles being written, nothing but crickets.
So I think I’m going to call it at this point: The institutional American right is fully captured and anyone who criticizes them or runs afield of their cringe iPad scripts will be targeted for destruction.
You ALL suck, and we all see it.

Alexander Dugin wrote a book on using conspiracy theories as a weapon of information warfare. Almost nobody in the West has read it.
David Reaboi found it on a Russian-language conspiracy site whose writers turned out to be FSB and GRU. The site went dark right before Russia invaded Crimea.
We broke down what Dugin calls the most potent conspiracy theory of all, and why the whole counter-disinfo industry missed this for over a decade.

About 9 days ago, I published a data-driven investigation documenting The Daily Caller's descent into Groyperism and its sudden suspension of coverage critical of Qatar — clearly due to co-founder and de facto editor-in-chief Tucker Carlson's ties to the country.
I soon followed up with a thread exposing Semafor's financial ties to Qatar, which prompted coverage from several news outlets and led a prominent entrepreneur to speak out against Doha's alleged bribery of the outlet.
And now, just days later, Semafor has published a puff piece about The Daily Groyper, explaining that aCkShUaLlY, its descent into Groyperism is a GOOD thing because it's popular with the youths.
Folks, this ain't rocket science.

An announcement that is as personal as professional:
18 months ago, we started collecting online prices in real time to track how Liberation Day tariffs were feeding into inflation.
A lot has happened since. The BLS commissioner was fired. The longest government shutdown in US history meant CPI wasn’t published for the first time. And the case for an independent measure of inflation became much stronger.
What started as a tariff inflation tracker has since grown into something much bigger:
The Bloomberg Price Project (BPP), our attempt to build the US CPI from the ground up using alternative data.
Today, BPP covers 87% of the CPI basket, across both goods and services (more new data will be added in coming weeks). Every month, we collect millions of prices from card transactions, e-commerce sites, grocery stores, pharmacies, rental listings, corporate data, Bloomberg Terminal market prices and government records. And more data are coming.
The payoff is detail. Official CPI data let you drill down to categories such as “uncooked beef steaks.” BPP goes much deeper — breaking the CPI basket into almost 700 line items, compared with roughly 200 in the official data.
Brought to you by: myself, Troy Durie, Daniel Ripperger-Suhler, Joshua Danial and Scott Johnson from across Bloomberg Economics.
Explore the Bloomberg Price Project at BECO MODELS BPP <GO>, or download the data at ECAN US BPI <GO>.
I believe the paywall on Bloomberg.com is coming down briefly so you can read this without a subscription (but you should subscribe!)

No matter what happens with the midterm election results the government will continue to neglect—if not outright oppress—many of our neighbors. A church that has any salt left whatsoever will be committed to looking out for those who slip through the cracks.
He will discard you the way he discarded Dooku, but only after he takes everything of value for his own.
“The prequels, at the end of the day, are about a young man trying to claim what is rightfully his. And he’s treated with suspicion, contempt, or even outright hatred because of it. “
That’s why he’s such a great role model for me to emulate! ROFTLOL
The prequels, at the end of the day, are about a young man trying to claim what is rightfully his. And he’s treated with suspicion, contempt, or even outright hatred because of it.
He wants skill, power, influence, order, hierarchy etc. and isn’t afraid to tell people that. He kills the guilt that he used to feel for wanting what he should have.
It’s remarkable how relatable all of this actually is for many young men. Made to feel guilt for who or what they are. Denied what is rightfully theirs by birth. Villainized by a weak, corrupted, aging Republic that has long outlived its usefulness.
Fortunately, everyone seems to be on the same page on this. We’re going to reclaim what is ours.

The more I think about it, the more the fascination with Anakin makes sense as a mirror. This generation of young man has had their fears and anxieties stoked and groomed, and they want a return of the power they feel was rightfully theirs but has been lost/taken from them.

Winning the coming civil war on the right over 2028 requires new leaders—now.
The solution to the problem is new (and old) institutions with new leaders—now.
Ramp up those who get it—now.
We will win against the last gasp of the old guard, and recruit the next generation, but everyone needs to be in position.
Now.
