Everybody hates us apparently. National media. Opposing fans. Even some of our own (alleged) fans. Consider that Tampa Bay has a pro hockey team with 3 Stanley Cup championships, whereas Milwaukee, WI (!) doesn’t even have a team. New York and Boston spend hundreds of millions of dollars on payroll but struggle against Tampa Bay’s shoestring budget. Are they jealous? Maybe. Who knows. All I know is Tampa Bay is awesome. We live where everybody else vacations. And we get to do it while competing at the highest levels of pro sports in the U.S. I hereby apologize for NOTHING. You disloyal transplants can go suck an egg. I’ll always be proud of my hometown, win or lose, no matter what you think about how we do things. #TEAMTAMPABAY FOREVER, Y’ALL!
