Honored that my home County of Kitui hosted the Head of State during his development tour of the South Eastern (Ukambani) Region.
As a passionate educationist and TVET champion, I was especially proud that his visit to Tseikuru National Polytechnic highlighted additional amenities, including student hostels being built to help us skill our youth across the vast county in conducive environments with adequate facilities.
As a STEM advocate, I hope more young girls will opt to pursue technical training at this National Polytechnic and gain the competencies and skills to drive the Industrial Revolution. We will also continue pushing our County Governments to upgrade existing “youth polytechnics” into decent, modern vocational training centres as a reform we advocated during my tenure serving at the Presidential Working Party on Education Reforms constituted by The President in 2022, where we have since then implemented a myriad of reforms to grow the TVET sub-sector. 💪🏾💪🏾
Welcome to Kitui County again, Mr President @WilliamsRuto na Karibu tena County #015 for more developmental outcomes!

You had a good run @YvonneOkwara .
History shall remember your commitment to the call of journalism; glad to have shared platforms, and I wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors.
May the talents behind us, not only fit into the shoes, but make them bigger.

Wamunyoro political recruitment agency! @skmusyoka and @edwinsifuna turn up for their interviews, but the sitting arrangements steal the show. Mr. Shiny things, know your equals. At Wamunyoro, even the chairs have ranks. Not everyone gets the same seat at the interview table!

Kenya is a unique and complex democracy. Those who looked to Bangladesh in 2024 for inspiration and are now holding up Serbia as exemplar, will suffer deep disappointment.
President William Ruto inspects the deadly Enziu River Bridge, now christened Mla Watu by locals, thanks to its reputation of taking hundreds of lives over decades.
What was once a far fetched dream, is now a reality as the modern bridge nears completion.

SIFUNA has NEVER done a SINGLE thing of CONSEQUENCE in his entire life. Not a thing as a lawyer, ODM SG, or senator. Zero, zilch, nada. He’s a blank slate. I challenge anyone to name one thing. Apart from running his mouth. He lost every election until Baba made him Nairobi Senator. Now he’s hiding under Gachagua’s skirt. Prove me wrong. I challenge you.
The Mtito Andei accident is extremely devastating and heartbreaking. 23 lives lost; people who had plans, aspirations and families waiting for them lost in a whim.
Sadly, almost all of these accidents are products of road recklessness, and can be avoided.
On the same stretch two weeks ago, I had the experience as captured in the video. Evidence of how drivers(especially trucks and buses) have little or no regard for other road users and lives.
There’s need to introduce tougher deterrent penalties for such road goons.
