Then why donate to the NDP?
You cant make this up! Danielle Smith just stood up in the Legislature and claimed that Jeff Rath, separatist leader, (?) lawyer for the Alberta Property Project and Proud UCP member who featured predominantly at the last... UCP AGM. Is "actually an NDP supporter" Legit quote.

This is a great headline to read. Excited to work with British Columbia's new government and Premier Lorne Doerkson @LDoerkson to make Pacific Link a priority. Alberta will continue to be strong neighbours with British Columbia and to champion the kind of free trade between provinces that makes Canada stronger.

Of all the people named in that unhinged rant, the only one who has donated to both Notley's NDP and Trudeau's Liberals was Jeffrey Rath. Think about that. westernstandard.news/alberta…
FOR EVERY INDEPENDENCE SUPPORTER WONDERING WHATS GOING ON… Consider that everyone attacking Mitch Sylvestre and Jeff Rath are now on Team Smith-Carney. Cory Morgan, Keith Wilson and Chris Scott all now openly support Danielle Smith. Anybody that listened this week knows that Smith is unelectable in 2027. Smith has told 520,000 Albertans representing 56% of the UCP vote in the last election to accept that the UCP supports Canadian federalism or find a new party. SMITH also said that Alberta will never be independent as long as she is premier. By openly alienating a majority of the UCP Base Smith has committed political malpractice that will hand the province to Nenshi. If anyone cares - both Wilson and Scott are on the record with the Globe and Mail today supporting a federalist premier who has committed millions of tax dollars to attempting to destroy the Alberta Independence movement. With friends like these, who needs enemies.

In the last municipal election, less than 30% of eligible voters cast a ballot. Democracy works when everyone makes their voice heard. 🗣️ Tell a friend, tell a neighbour, tell your family: Vote! 🗳️

Today I spoke directly to Albertans following yesterday’s referendum vote. Alberta will remain in Canada, and for as long as I serve as premier, there will not be another referendum on the issue of separation. I’m also pleased that Albertans also gave our government a mandate to take greater control over immigration, to ensure temporary residents pay their share of the services they use and to require proof of citizenship to vote. Those reforms are coming, and they will strengthen Alberta’s autonomy. Now is the time to move forward not as a people divided by how we voted yesterday, but as neighbours, friends, Albertans and Canadians. Together, we will keep Alberta and Canada forever strong and free.

In 2023, Toronto had more construction cranes in its skyline than any other city in North America. 🏗️ Toronto is building things, no doubt, but are we actually finishing any of them? 🏁

Proud to have been a volunteer and donor to Vote to Stay. Congratulations to all the individuals, organizations and grassroots groups who worked to keep Alberta in Canada. You came from different backgrounds and political perspectives, but were united by a common purpose. Thank you for standing up for our province and our country. 🇨🇦 And thanks to @montesolberg for his leadership in organizing the group around Vote to Stay.
.@MonteSolberg Statement on Alberta Separation Referendum Results 🇨🇦 DRUMHELLER, AB (Oct. 20, 2026) – Today, Vote to Stay Founder Monte Solberg issued the following statement in response to Albertans' decisive and overwhelming vote to stay in Canada: "Albertans have spoken loud and clear, voting overwhelmingly to stay in Canada and reject separation. "Alberta's future is about building a stronger province alongside our fellow Canadians, not breaking our country apart. "It's time to put the question of separation to rest and get to work building a stronger Alberta within a united Canada. I've seen enough. Total humiliation for @RiseOfAlberta and @ABProsperityPrj - zero good news anywhere in the province. Deeply out of touch with actual Alberta voters. Great day for Alberta and Canadians to move ahead on building a stronger Alberta within a united Canada.
