ask jeeves sold to a parent company and rebranded "ask . com" in 2006. shortly after, in 2007, they ran a tv ad campaign called "instant getifaction".
the literal moment I first saw that ad, the term "getify" came to mind, and I immediately picked my company name and nickname.
easiest way to almost completely block AI agents:
make passkeys required.

and if you REALLY want to unify all this...
no matter how far out you count, you'll have counted an odd number of numbers (0 is 1 + even pairs), and THAT odd number won't have been enumerated in your counting yet, so... that odd number balances out with the even 0.

i mean, if you consider 0 as even... it's the only number that doesn't have an opposite parity pair (-1 vs 1, -3 vs 3, etc), so... it's by itself. so in that way, there is always 1 more even than the odds, no matter how far out you count.
I mean... have you personally looked at all your random private keys?
how many of you are confident your private key isn't some value like 4 or 57 (with a bunch of leading 0s).
imagine this type of result holds. it will mean that most of the votes "for" talarico were actually just "against" paxton. amazing. I think I'd like that outcome MORE than just "for talarico".
I guess now is a good time to mention that I have patented the rsa key with value 5 so... don't go getting any cute ideas.
kinda like how every hacker and security researcher was doing the super trivial/obvious check of... "is the private key a simple small number like 4"?

everyone clowns on it but security through obscurity sure made "4" last a while
really elite sports scheduling that the NBA starts just in time for me to not have to watch any more baseball.
i wonder how many republican households in texas who got that lgbt flyer ironically found an interested recipient?
reminder: 4 is no more or less of a random number (and thus no weaker or stronger) than any other 200 digit long number.
those keys weren't found/exploited for nearly 1.5 years. suggests 4 was actually a pretty genius private key value. up until today, that is. never again.

I paid the tax when I bought the house/car. The local government artificially raises the value of my home every 5 years so they can gouge more tax out of me at gunpoint.

It is that this is tied to property value. The value of which can swing wildly. If you’ve done any retirement planning you don’t plan for your home doubling in value in 5 years (mine did) especaiily since a 600k home doesn’t consume 20% more resources than a $500k home.
