ALT Because I believe there is something sacred about the way memories naturally fade—sometimes protecting us from pain and loss—I usually only use my memorization techniques for work. However, several months ago, I was presented with a lengthy bit of information that I knew would benefit me to remember. I thought to myself, “Well, I do know these tricks. It’s OK to use them for normal stuff.” Last week, I had to recall that information in front of a roomful of bureaucratic strangers—and it came out of my mouth effortlessly. “Holy crap that really worked,” I murmured to myself. Take this class if you want to learn ways to memorize things you can’t afford to forget. I use them myself! 🐘
