Why Does the World Need a Global Unified Digital Currency Payment Network? From Global Economic Challenges and Trade Imbalances to GCV, Pi Network, and Mass Adoption Author: Doris Yin 1. What Economic Challenges and Social Crises Is the World Facing? Today, countries around the world are facing varying degrees of economic pressure. Rising prices, increasing living costs, unaffordable housing, fewer employment opportunities, and declining purchasing power are affecting the lives of ordinary people. In particular, European countries such as France, Italy, Germany, and Spain have experienced protests and social conflicts over living costs, wages, employment, agricultural policies, and government economic policies. Other regions are also facing economic pressure, social tensions, and public dissatisfaction. These developments remind us of an important reality: when economic pressure continues to accumulate, ordinary people find it increasingly difficult to maintain their standard of living, and existing systems fail to respond adequately, social tensions can intensify. We must ask ourselves: Why does the world have such a highly interconnected economy while so many countries continue to face serious economic difficulties? Why does international trade continue to expand while ordinary people still bear the burden of rising prices, declining purchasing power, and increasing living costs? These challenges are closely related to the global economic structure, international trade, monetary systems, and financial settlement mechanisms. 2. The Relationship Between International Settlement Currencies, Trade Surpluses, and Trade Deficits International trade is a fundamental component of the global economy, while the international settlement currency system provides an essential foundation for global trade. Countries experience trade surpluses and trade deficits. Persistent, large-scale trade imbalances that are difficult to correct can intensify global economic imbalances and create different pressures for different countries. The position of international settlement currencies, capital flows, exchange rate fluctuations, debt structures, and national economic policies all influence how international trade and financial systems operate. For example, countries issuing major international settlement currencies may enjoy financing and payment conditions that differ from those available to other countries. Meanwhile, other countries may face pressures involving foreign exchange reserves, exchange rate volatility, import costs, and external debt. When some countries depend heavily on exports while others rely heavily on imports, structural imbalances can emerge in international economic relationships. Persistent trade imbalances can also increase financial market volatility, debt risks, and trade tensions. These developments can ultimately affect ordinary people's daily lives. Currency depreciation, for example, can increase the cost of imported goods and put upward pressure on the prices of energy, food, raw materials, and other necessities. Therefore, currency depreciation and economic pressure are not problems that any single country can always determine or resolve independently. In an interconnected global economy, international trade, settlement currencies, and global capital flows can all influence a country's economic stability. This is why we must examine the global economic system as a whole and explore more open, interconnected, and efficient international payment and settlement methods. 3. Why Does the World Need a Global Unified Digital Currency Payment Network? Traditional financial systems consist of different national currencies, banks, payment systems, and financial regulations. Cross-border payments often pass through multiple institutions and settlement procedures, creating additional costs, delays, and operational difficulties. For ordinary people, international remittances can involve additional fees. For merchants, the complexity of international settlements can increase operating costs. For the global economy, barriers between different payment systems can limit the efficiency of commercial activities. The world needs a digital payment network that connects people, businesses, and merchants across countries, allowing value to move more conveniently through global economic activities. A global digital currency payment network should aim to: Improve the efficiency of cross-border payments and settlements. Reduce unnecessary transaction costs. Connect consumers and merchants across different countries. Provide more convenient payment options for international business. Integrate the digital economy with real commercial activities. Give more ordinary people opportunities to participate in the global digital economy. The global economy has entered a new stage of digital development. We need more than technological innovation. We need new financial infrastructure capable of connecting global users, commercial activities, and economic opportunities. 4. Pi Network Is Not Intended to Replace National Sovereign Currencies, but to Complement Existing Systems One point must be made absolutely clear: Pi Network is not intended to replace any country's sovereign currency or conflict with the legal currencies of different nations. Its purpose is to complement the shortcomings of existing international payment and settlement systems, particularly in international trade. Every country has its own sovereign currency and financial system. Pi Network represents an opportunity to explore new possibilities in the digital economy, especially in cross-border payments, international trade, and global commercial connectivity. International trade affects not only economic relationships between countries but also the daily lives of ordinary people. Imports and exports, international settlement currencies, exchange rate fluctuations, and trade imbalances can all affect import costs, domestic prices, and the purchasing power of national currencies. Currency depreciation pressures are not always something a country can completely control on its own. They can be influenced by complex international economic relationships. Therefore, we need to explore more open and convenient international digital payment methods that help consumers and merchants in different countries conduct economic activities while complementing the limitations of traditional cross-border payment systems. Pi Network's objective is not to replace national fiat currencies, but to explore a digital economic development path that complements existing monetary systems. Its focus is on connecting global commerce and facilitating international economic participation, not opposing the sovereign currencies of any country. We should approach this development with openness, rationality, and cooperation, allowing digital technology to create new possibilities for international trade and global livelihoods. 5. Pi Network: Building a Global Digital Economy Ecosystem Pi Network's long-term vision goes beyond digital currency trading. It aims to build a digital economic ecosystem connecting pioneers, merchants, developers, applications, and real commercial activities worldwide. Through blockchain technology, user participation, merchant cooperation, and application development, Pi Network offers new opportunities for building the global digital economy. A genuinely thriving digital economic ecosystem requires more users, more participating merchants, more practical applications, and an expanding range of real commercial activities. Only when digital currency increasingly enters practical use cases can digital assets establish closer connections with the real economy. 6. GCV: Global Consensus Value GCV stands for Global Consensus Value. It represents the value consensus established and advocated by the global GCV community, with a reference value of 1 Pi = US$314,159. The Global GCV Movement promotes education, consensus-building, merchant cooperation, and real economic activities. Its mission is to help pioneers around the world understand the GCV concept and translate consensus into practical action. The development of GCV depends on the participation of pioneers worldwide. Through education, consensus-building, and ecosystem development, pioneers can help expand the reach of GCV and promote Pi's use in real commercial activities. 7. Pioneer Awareness Determines the Strength of Ecosystem Development Pi Network has been developing for many years, its technological foundation has continued to develop, and GCV has established its own consensus foundation. In my view, given Pi Network's existing technological capabilities, KYC and Migration could have progressed much faster. The issue that needs to be addressed is not simply technology, but why progress remains so slow and why the project team has been reluctant to proceed with large-scale migration. Many pioneers still regard Pi as an ordinary digital currency worth only a few cents. They focus exclusively on short-term market prices, chase rumors, and sometimes sell their Pi out of fear or even uninstall the application because they lack confidence. These behaviors reflect insufficient understanding of Pi's long-term vision among some pioneers and create uncertainty for the development of the entire ecosystem. Technology is the foundation. GCV is the consensus. Pioneer awareness is the driving force. Practical action is the key to ecosystem development. 8. What We Need Most Right Now Is KYC and Migration What we all need most right now is KYC and Migration. The reason progress has been slow lies in the uncertainty and risks brought about by pioneers, which have caused the project team to hesitate to carry out large-scale migration. Pioneers' awareness, behavior, and support for Pi's long-term vision directly affect the project team's assessment of the ecosystem's development prospects. Only when pioneers improve their awareness, build consensus, and strengthen confidence can this uncertainty be reduced, enabling the project team to accelerate KYC and Migration, promote ecosystem development, attract outside capital, and ultimately achieve Mass Adoption. 9. Promoting Real Commercial Applications and Mass Adoption The global digital economy cannot remain at the level of slogans and discussions. Ultimately, it must translate into real commercial activities. We need more users, more merchant partnerships, more practical applications, and more real transactions so that Pi can gradually become part of everyday life and commercial activities. For merchant partnerships, partial Pi payments combined with fiat currency should be adopted according to each merchant's actual business conditions. This approach can promote Pi's practical use while allowing merchants to retain the cash flow needed to pay taxes, replenish inventory, cover rent, and pay wages. Only by continually expanding practical applications and encouraging consumers, merchants, and developers to participate can we gradually build a sustainable economic ecosystem and create the conditions for Mass Adoption. 10. The Mission of Global GCV Education The Global GCV Movement continues to promote pioneer education to help pioneers improve their understanding, build consensus, understand the long-term vision, and translate these ideas into practical action. Every pioneer should study Pi Network's long-term vision, carefully learn the GCV educational materials, actively share relevant ideas, support merchant partnerships, promote practical applications, and devote more effort to ecosystem development. We need to build a global pioneer community with awareness, confidence, and a strong willingness to take action, transforming consensus into real momentum for ecosystem development. 11. A Call to People Worldwide: Learn About Pi Network and Explore New Opportunities In the face of global economic pressure, international trade imbalances, currency depreciation, and rising living costs, we must recognize that many economic problems cannot be solved independently by any single country. Every country participates in international trade. International settlement currency systems, capital flows, exchange rate fluctuations, and global economic uncertainty can all affect a country's economic conditions. Even when people continue to protest, oppose policies, and voice their concerns, governments may not be able to independently change these deep-rooted structural problems. We need to seek new approaches rather than relying solely on confrontation, destruction, and protests to solve these problems. We need to proactively understand new technologies, explore new economic opportunities, and make more informed and responsible decisions about our future. Today, I sincerely call on ordinary people, citizens, and communities around the world to learn about Pi Network with an open mind and seriously study its principles, technology, and development vision. Pi Network offers ordinary people an opportunity to participate in a grassroots digital currency network through free mining. Those interested can learn about the participation process and applicable rules. For anyone considering purchasing Pi, it is equally important to understand market prices and associated risks and to make rational decisions based on their financial circumstances. Through broader participation, we hope to explore new economic opportunities based on digital technology and accessible to ordinary people. Through learning, consensus-building, participation, and practical applications, more people can understand digital currency, participate in the digital economy, and explore new possibilities for their future. Currency depreciation, economic imbalances, and structural problems within the global financial system will not automatically disappear simply because we choose to ignore them. If these problems remain unresolved for too long, economic pressures may continue to accumulate, social tensions may intensify, and more serious social instability could emerge, potentially increasing risks to food supplies and basic living necessities. We have already seen protests, riots, and social conflicts in some countries and regions. These developments remind us that we must examine deep-rooted economic challenges early and actively explore solutions rather than waiting until a crisis becomes more severe. Whether Pi Network can realize its long-term vision will depend on technological development, ecosystem building, practical applications, and the collective efforts of participants worldwide. Nevertheless, we can begin today by learning, studying carefully, making informed judgments, and exploring the new opportunities that the digital economy may offer. I call on people around the world: Do not simply wait for problems to occur, and do not remain confined to complaints and confrontation. Take responsibility for your own future. Learn about Pi Network, understand how free mining works, study the principles of the Global GCV Movement, and explore new economic opportunities with a rational and open mind. Through awareness, consensus, cooperation, and constructive participation, let us seek new paths for addressing global economic challenges and expand opportunities for ordinary people to participate in the digital economy. Together, let us explore a more open and interconnected global economic future. Conclusion: Building the Future of the Global Digital Economy Together From global economic pressures and international trade imbalances to the limitations of traditional payment systems, the world faces many important challenges that deserve serious consideration. A global digital currency payment network offers a new direction for connecting countries, users, and commercial activities. Pi Network provides a platform for pursuing this vision. GCV provides the value consensus of the global GCV community. Pioneer education, KYC, Migration, merchant partnerships, and practical applications are important components of ecosystem development. Technology is the foundation. GCV is the consensus. Pioneer awareness is the driving force. Real-world applications are the direction. Mass Adoption is the goal. Let pioneers around the world work together to improve awareness, build consensus, advance KYC and Migration, promote ecosystem development, and encourage greater participation from users, merchants, and outside capital. Let us work together to advance the global digital economy. Start by learning. Start by participating. Start by building. Let people around the world explore new opportunities in the digital economy together! One World. One Connected Economy. One Global Digital Currency Payment Network. Doris Yin

Binance’s $6.3 Billion Hacking Incident: Why the Future of Digital Currency Should Not Depend on Centralized Exchanges On October 29, 2026, Binance, one of the world's leading cryptocurrency trading platforms, reportedly experienced a major cybersecurity incident involving approximately $6.3 billion in digital assets. This incident once again raised serious concerns about the security of centralized cryptocurrency platforms and the risks associated with concentrating digital assets within centralized systems. However, this event should make us think beyond the security of one exchange. There is a much more fundamental question we need to consider: Is the ultimate purpose of digital currency to be traded and speculated on through exchanges, or to serve as a medium of exchange that enables people to transfer value directly to one another? 1. The Persistent Security Risks of Centralized Exchanges Over the years, the cryptocurrency industry has experienced repeated hacking incidents and major security breaches. Despite continuous technological improvements, cybersecurity threats have never completely disappeared. Attack methods are becoming increasingly sophisticated, targeting digital wallets, system vulnerabilities, authorization mechanisms, and third-party infrastructure. As digital asset holdings and transaction volumes expand, the potential financial consequences of security failures become increasingly significant. These events remind us that the future of digital currency should not be built around excessive dependence on centralized platforms. The question is not simply how to make centralized exchanges safer, but whether the entire digital currency economy should depend so heavily on them in the first place. 2. The True Purpose of Digital Currency Is to Serve as a Medium of Exchange What is the fundamental function of money? It is exchange. People use money to purchase goods, pay for services, and conduct business. Digital currencies should fulfill the same fundamental economic function. We should be building an economy that enables direct peer-to-peer (P2P) transactions: Consumers can pay merchants directly through their digital wallets. Merchants can pay suppliers directly. Individuals can transfer digital currency directly to one another. People across different countries can exchange value through blockchain networks. This means that not every digital currency transaction needs to pass through a centralized exchange. Direct wallet-to-wallet transactions are an essential application of digital currency as a medium of exchange. 3. Centralized Exchanges Can Exist, but They Should Not Become the Center of the Digital Currency Economy We do not deny the current role of centralized exchanges. At this stage, they continue to provide trading services, liquidity, and price discovery. However, centralized exchanges should not become the only center of the digital currency economy. As digital wallets, blockchain payments, and commercial applications develop, consumers and merchants, businesses and suppliers, and individuals around the world should increasingly be able to exchange value directly. Our long-term direction should be to reduce excessive dependence on centralized trading platforms and enable digital currencies to function independently as mediums of exchange. Of course, P2P transactions also require secure wallets, private-key protection, and reliable blockchain infrastructure. 4. Pi Network: Giving Ordinary People a Fair Opportunity to Participate in the Digital Economy One of the important aspects of Pi Network is its opportunity to bring ordinary people into the digital economy. The digital economy should not be a game reserved exclusively for wealthy investors, financial institutions, and professional traders. Ordinary workers, consumers, small business owners, and people without substantial financial resources should also have a fair opportunity to participate. Pi's relatively low participation barrier provides ordinary people around the world with an opportunity to access and participate in the emerging digital economy. This is why large-scale adoption is important. We need more users, more merchants, more wallet usage, more payment applications, and more real commercial transactions. At present, the Pi ecosystem still needs continued expansion, education, and practical application development. Our objective is to help Pi move beyond being merely a digital asset that people hold and toward becoming a digital currency that genuinely serves its function as a medium of exchange. 5. Moving from Exchange Prices to Real Economic Circulation This is precisely the direction that the Global GCV Movement has been promoting. Through GCV education, the Global Industry Alliance, merchandise exchanges, and practical payment applications, we aim to encourage the integration of Pi into real economic activities. Our goal is not to turn every Pioneer into a trader. Our goal is to enable more people to become consumers, merchants, service providers, and active participants in the digital economy. The future of digital currency should not be defined merely by numbers displayed on exchange platforms. It should be defined by the real exchange of value between people around the world. Exchanges may continue to exist, but they should not be a necessary condition for digital currencies to perform their economic functions. Peer-to-peer circulation, direct payments, real goods and services exchanges, and global commercial applications are the future we should work together to build. Let digital currency return to its fundamental purpose as a medium of exchange. Let ordinary people have a fair opportunity to participate. Let digital currency facilitate more direct value exchange throughout the global economy. We are not trying to create more traders. We are working toward an economy in which ordinary people around the world can become active participants in the digital economy. This is an important direction for the long-term development of Pi Network and the purpose behind the Global GCV Movement's commitment to GCV education and global economic ecosystem development. "I have checked some of these people's social media accounts and found that they have never posted anything about Pi Network. Some appear to focus on other cryptocurrencies instead. Yet they come to my posts and argue as if they fully understand Pi." That's because they tried to be stupid smart. #Picommunity #PiGCV #Picoin #PiNetwork @dorisyincpa
Why Have I Blocked So Many People? The reason is simple: you cannot have a meaningful discussion with someone when there is no common foundation of knowledge or understanding. There is a Chinese saying: “秀才遇到兵,有理讲不清.” It means that when two people have no common ground for a rational discussion, even the most reasonable explanation can become pointless. I welcome questions, different opinions, and genuine discussions. However, there is a fundamental requirement: before debating Pi Network, you must first understand what Pi Network is and what I am actually discussing. Some people come to my posts without studying Pi Network or understanding the content I share. They simply approach Pi from the perspective of traditional cryptocurrency markets and assume that Pi is just another cryptocurrency. Their understanding is limited to what they already know, so they use that limited knowledge to argue against concepts they have never taken the time to understand. I have checked some of these people's social media accounts and found that they have never posted anything about Pi Network. Some appear to focus on other cryptocurrencies instead. Yet they come to my posts and argue as if they fully understand Pi. How can you debate something you have never seriously studied? If you have not taken the time to understand Pi Network, how can you meaningfully challenge my arguments about it? Another problem is that some people are unwilling to listen. There is a Chinese expression about a teapot that is already full: when the pot is full, you cannot pour any more water into it. In the same way, when someone's mind is already full of preconceived ideas, they cannot absorb new information because they refuse to listen or consider another perspective. There is no benefit in such an exchange. It wastes time and prevents meaningful communication. More importantly, my social media posts reach a large audience. When someone spreads misunderstandings or incorrect assumptions beneath my posts, other readers who are still learning about Pi may be misled. I have a responsibility to protect the quality of the educational environment I have worked so hard to build. That is why I choose to delete misleading comments and block accounts when necessary. Blocking someone does not mean I am afraid of debate. It means I will not allow endless, uninformed arguments to interfere with education. I welcome sincere questions. I welcome people who want to learn, understand, and exchange ideas respectfully. Nobody needs to agree with me on everything, but everyone should be willing to study the subject before attempting to challenge it. Here is my expectation: 1. First, learn about Pi Network. Do not judge Pi solely through the framework of traditional cryptocurrencies. 2. Second, read and understand the content being discussed. Do not argue against something you have not taken the time to understand. 3. Third, ask questions with an open mind. Be willing to listen, learn, and reconsider your assumptions. 4. Finally, engage in discussions based on knowledge and reasoning. Disagreement is welcome, but uninformed arguments that mislead others are not productive. I have devoted years to educating pioneers and promoting the long-term vision of Pi Network and the GCV Movement. My time and energy should be spent helping people learn and move forward, not repeating the same explanations to people who refuse to listen. Learn first. Understand first. Then debate. That is how meaningful discussions happen, that is how knowledge grows, and that is how we build a stronger and better-informed Pi community. — Doris Yin

There is no X+Y=K for Pi BUT Pi is = GCV ... There is no X + Y = K mathematical formula that can determine Pi's true value. BUT Pi = GCV (1 Pi = $314,159) represents the value envisioned by the GCV community, built through consensus, voluntary transactions, real-world utility, and the collective commitment of Pioneers worldwide. GCV is not determined by speculation or exchange prices. It is a community-driven valuation that must earn recognition through genuine adoption, sustainable commerce, and economic activity. "Pi is worth what Pioneers make it worth!" #Picommunity #PiGCV @mrbhenderson

FRANK TALK: PI NETWORK, GCV & THE POWER OF MILLIONS OF PIONEERS! π THE PI CORE TEAM BUILT THE TECHNOLOGY. PIONEERS ARE BUILDING THE ECONOMY! Doris Yin, Founder of the Global GCV Movement, has reminded us of a fundamental truth: Technology alone cannot establish the economic value of Pi. That value must emerge from genuine participation, utility, adoption and consensus! Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis and Dr. Chengdiao Fan have provided the technological foundation for Pi Network. But who will build its global economy? THE PIONEERS! For nearly four years, the Global GCV Movement has advocated a community consensus value of: 1 PI = US$314,159 This is not an arbitrary aspiration without community activity behind it. GCV supporters report millions of Pi blockchain microtransactions associated with their movement, alongside merchant participation, ecosystem initiatives and years of grassroots education. These activities deserve serious examination. However, transaction counts alone do not establish Pi's fair market value. The evidence must be independently verified, including actual goods and services exchanged, transaction authenticity, merchant participation and sustainable purchasing power. HERE IS MY QUESTION TO THE PI CORE TEAM: If millions of Pioneers have voluntarily participated in GCV-based economic activities, should their collective efforts and blockchain transaction records simply be ignored? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Blockchain technology provides the means to record transactions. Pioneers provide the economic activity. Merchants provide real-world utility. And voluntary consensus provides a potential foundation for a community-driven economy. GCV DESERVES SERIOUS, TRANSPARENT AND SCIENTIFIC EVALUATION! The Pi Core Team should consider establishing a formal framework to: > Independently audit GCV-related blockchain transactions. > Verify genuine commercial exchanges involving goods and services. > Evaluate merchant adoption and sustainable purchasing power. > Examine how GCV could function as a voluntary reference value within the Pi ecosystem. > Assess regulatory compliance, consumer protection and the risks of divergent valuations. THE OBJECTIVE IS NOT TO FORCE A PRICE UPON THE MARKET. It is to determine whether years of community-generated economic activity provide sufficient evidence to support a credible, sustainable and widely accepted valuation. GCV IS A COMMUNITY CONSENSUS PROPOSAL — NOT AN OFFICIAL PI PRICE OR GUARANTEED MARKET VALUE. Nevertheless, a movement supported by years of voluntary participation deserves to be heard and evaluated on its merits. Pioneers must also understand their responsibilities. STOP WAITING FOR EXCHANGES TO DETERMINE PI'S ENTIRE FUTURE! Build businesses. Develop applications. Support merchants. Conduct genuine commerce. Expand adoption. A successful Pi economy cannot depend entirely on speculative trading. PI MUST BECOME A CURRENCY PEOPLE ACTUALLY USE! My message to Dr. Nicolas, Dr. Fan and the entire Pi Core Team: > LET THE BLOCKCHAIN DATA SPEAK. > LET THE ECONOMIC EVIDENCE BE EXAMINED. > LET THE PIONEERS PARTICIPATE IN BUILDING PI'S FUTURE! The greatest strength of Pi Network is not merely its blockchain. IT IS THE COLLECTIVE ECONOMIC POWER OF ITS GLOBAL COMMUNITY! > "PI IS WORTH WHAT PIONEERS MAKE IT WORTH!" >The Future: ONE WORLD DIGITAL CURRENCY! #Picommunity #PiNetwork #PiGCV #GlobalGCVMovement #PiEcosystem #PiCommerce #OneWorldDigitalCurrency @dorisyincpa @PiCoreTeam
A Call to European, North American, South American and Oceanian Pioneers Pi’s Success Is Only One Step Away! PART 1 — Wake Up, Global Pioneers! Dear Pioneers, Today, I want to speak especially to our Pioneers living in Europe, North America, South America, and Oceania. I know there are many Pioneers in these countries and regions. However, we rarely hear your voices or see you actively building communities. As far as I know, there are many Pioneers in the United States and Canada. Yet many have never taken the time to seriously understand Pi Network. They think Pi is simply a traditional cryptocurrency: keep it in a wallet and sell it when its price becomes high enough. What a waste of an opportunity! It is like holding a precious jewel in your hand but treating it like an ordinary weed, completely ignoring its value. You are holding a treasure, yet you do not recognize its potential! Part 1: Facing Reality — We Must Find a New Way Forward Pioneers, let us look at the world around us. Whether in Europe, North America, South America, or other regions, we can see many social and economic challenges. Some European countries have experienced social unrest, demonstrations, and protests, with some escalating into riots. One important reason is public dissatisfaction with living conditions. In the past, some European countries had generous welfare systems. Today, however, governments face increasing financial pressure and may struggle to maintain their previous levels of spending. People become dissatisfied, protest, and go on strike, hoping their governments will solve their problems. But where will the money come from? Some people believe governments have spent too much money on war. Yet even without considering military spending, governments may still face serious financial difficulties. Therefore, simply protesting and expecting governments to solve every problem cannot necessarily resolve the underlying issues. A government may try its best and still be unable to find a solution. Even if a new government takes office, the same problems may remain. This is not simply a problem caused by one government or military spending alone. It also involves deeper issues within the monetary and economic systems. When governments lack sufficient funds but must continue paying their expenses, excessive money printing can lead to rising prices and inflation, ultimately placing the burden on ordinary people. History has shown that some countries have experienced severe hyperinflation. Their currencies lost value rapidly, prices soared, and people could carry large amounts of money yet struggle to afford even a loaf of bread. Ordinary people ultimately bear the consequences. So we must ask ourselves: If the existing approaches cannot solve these problems, shouldn't we look for a new way forward? We cannot remain trapped in the same situation, waiting endlessly for outside forces to solve everything. We must actively explore new possibilities rather than concentrating only on protests and complaints. Part 2: You Hold a Sword — Learn How to Use It! Pioneers, Dr. Nicolas and Dr. Fan Chengzhang possess technical knowledge and expertise that have contributed to the technological foundations of Pi Network. But technology alone is not enough. We also need the participation and cooperation of Pioneers! Imagine holding a powerful sword but throwing it away, then lying on the ground and saying you have no way forward. If you have a sword, you must learn how to use it! Pi Network should not simply be something you keep in your wallet while waiting for its price to rise so you can sell it. We must seriously study Pi Network, understand its technology and vision, and learn how Pioneers can participate in ecosystem development. Pi Network has Pioneers from many countries, a blockchain technology foundation, and ongoing efforts to develop ecosystem applications. Its transaction and settlement capabilities, along with its low-cost participation model, deserve our attention and understanding. Have we not always been searching for fair opportunities? When a digital ecosystem designed for global participation is right in front of us, why should we refuse to learn about it? We must also understand GCV. GCV represents the value consensus promoted by the Global GCV Movement: 1 Pi = US$314,159. For nearly four years, we have worked to promote GCV value consensus, build GCV data, educate Pioneers, develop industry alliances, and establish our ecosystem. Why have we persisted for so many years? Because we want more Pioneers to understand GCV, recognize its principles, and actively participate in building the Pi Network ecosystem. Continued in Part 2. A Call to European, North American, South American and Oceanian Pioneers Pi’s Success Is Only One Step Away! PART 2 — GCV Has One Value Consensus: Take Action Now! Part 3: There Is Only One GCV — No Second GCV! Dear Pioneers, Many people say that GCV has not been recognized by the Core Team. I want to make one point clear: the question is not whether the Core Team recognizes it. The Core Team is like a mirror. What does it reflect? It reflects the Pioneers! For nearly four years, we Pioneers have continuously promoted GCV value consensus, developed supporting data, established industry alliances, and worked to build our ecosystem. Some people believe that a value only counts if the Core Team recognizes it. However, we must understand that the Core Team is responsible for technology and blockchain infrastructure. It does not determine Pi's value on behalf of the global Pioneer community. The blockchain operates according to its algorithms and rules. The Pioneers are the ones who establish Pi's community value consensus, not the Core Team. Some people confuse exchange prices in US dollars with GCV. Others treat small, individual transactions as if they were GCV. But the GCV promoted by our movement has a clear value proposition: 1 Pi = US$314,159. There is only ONE GCV — no second GCV! Exchange prices reflect market trading. Small, individual transactions do not constitute the GCV value consensus we promote. For nearly four years, we have worked to build GCV data, conduct systematic education, establish communities, develop industry alliances, and build an ecosystem. That is why we have remained committed to this work. Scattered transactions between individuals, involving only a few dollars, do not by themselves create a large-scale GCV system. Without systematic education, organized communities, industry alliances, and ecosystem development, it is difficult to build the comprehensive GCV system we have been working toward. Therefore, when someone says GCV is not official, we must be clear about our position: We, the Pioneers, are the community that establishes and determines Pi's community value consensus! We continue promoting GCV so that this value consensus can develop through Pioneer education, industry alliances, and ecosystem building. Part 4: We Are Only One Step Away — Free Your Mind and Participate! Dear Pioneers, Today, I want to share an important message: Pi's success is only one step away! For nearly four years, we have worked to promote GCV value consensus, build GCV data, develop industry alliances, and establish our ecosystem. What do we need to do now? It is simple: free your mind, study seriously, and support Pi's vision. You do not need to spend any money. You only need to change your mindset, learn, participate actively, and share information so that more Pioneers can understand Pi Network and GCV. It is that simple! Why do I continue to emphasize education? Because we need a healthy internal environment. As we await migration and mapping developments, Pioneers who do not understand Pi's vision or GCV value consensus may leave or sell large amounts of Pi when faced with market price fluctuations. What could happen then? Both the Core Team and external investors observe the ecosystem. If they see Pioneers losing confidence, communities becoming unstable, and participants leaving, they may become less confident about entering the ecosystem. We need to build a favorable investment environment. When our internal environment is healthy, Pioneers participate actively, communities grow, and ecosystem development continues, external capital may be more willing to enter. Capital seeks profit, but it also looks for safety and a trustworthy investment environment. We must first improve our own environment and cultivate healthy ecosystem foundations so that external capital has greater confidence to enter! This is why we continue investing our efforts in Pioneer education, industry alliances, and ecosystem development. We do not need every Pioneer to build the entire ecosystem personally, nor does everyone need to invest money. Our task now is to strengthen the foundation we have already established, including our communities, education, industry alliances, and ecosystem participation. If most Pioneers change their mindset, understand Pi's vision, participate actively, and share information, we can bring together much greater strength. Part 5: Do Not Treat a Treasure Like an Ordinary Weed! Dear Pioneers, I know there are many Pioneers in the United States, Canada, European countries, Australia, New Zealand, and other regions. Yet we rarely hear your voices or see you actively building communities. The same applies to places such as Singapore and Hong Kong, where more Pioneers could strengthen their learning and participation. This is an issue of foundational education! Many people are dissatisfied with their current living conditions and hope governments will solve their problems. But when existing approaches cannot solve everything, we must actively explore new possibilities. Have you thought about your own future? Life may seem manageable today. But what happens when you stop working? Will you still have enough money? Will your pension be sufficient? How much purchasing power will your hard-earned savings retain in the future? These are questions we must consider. I hope everyone will take the time to study and understand Pi Network's vision. Do not simply wait for Pi's price to rise so you can sell it. Do not sell your Pi out of anger or uninstall the application because of temporary frustration. If you abandon something before making the effort to understand it, what a waste that would be! Every Pioneer should study seriously, understand Pi Network and GCV, and actively participate in ecosystem development. Do not overlook an opportunity because of a lack of understanding, and do not abandon something you have not properly understood because of a moment of frustration. Conclusion: Starting Today, Support Pi's Vision! Dear Pioneers, Today, I hope every Pioneer will wake up and take action. Especially those of you living in Europe, North America, South America, and Oceania, I hope you will study seriously, build communities, and actively participate in Pi Network and GCV education. We have worked for nearly four years. Now we need everyone to act together instead of continuing to watch from the sidelines! We have a technological foundation and a global Pioneer community. What we need now is everyone's cooperation and collective effort. If you want Pi's vision to succeed, study seriously and support its long-term development. If you want GCV to succeed, learn about GCV, participate in community education, and help more Pioneers understand our principles. If you hope to create more possibilities for financial freedom in the future, start today by building your knowledge, improving your understanding, and taking action. We do not ask you to spend money. We ask you to free your mind, study seriously, participate actively, and share information! Let Europe hear our voices. Let North America see our actions. Let South America join our efforts. Let Oceania become an important force in the global Pioneer movement! Do not remain asleep. Do not treat a precious opportunity as something ordinary. Do not simply keep waiting. Pi's success is only one step away! Let us support Pi's vision, advance GCV, and work together toward our shared goals! Doris Yin Founder & Chairperson Global GCV Movement

GCV Pioneer Community Education Series #139 Pi Network: A New Hope for the Global Economy Dear Pioneers, Today, I want to discuss the serious economic challenges facing the world and why I believe Pi Network can offer new hope for humanity. Part 1: The Global Economy Is Facing Serious Challenges Following the post-war baby boom, many countries are now facing an aging population. As more people retire and fewer young people enter the workforce, pension systems and social welfare programs face increasing pressure. Fewer workers must support a growing number of retirees. Meanwhile, many young people in Western countries struggle to find jobs, repay student loans, and afford housing. Even those who work hard may find it nearly impossible to buy a home or start a family. Many continue living with their parents to reduce expenses. In China and other Asian countries, we also see young people choosing to “lie flat”—delaying marriage, avoiding having children, reducing consumption, and giving up traditional life goals because they face enormous financial pressure and see limited opportunities. When young people cannot afford homes, raise children, or build the lives they want, the entire economy suffers. Consumption declines, businesses lose customers, and economic growth becomes more difficult. Part 2: Why Is the Wealth Gap Becoming Such a Serious Problem? Across many countries, the gap between rich and poor continues to fuel public frustration. Protests and social unrest reflect growing concerns about inequality, rising living costs, and a lack of economic opportunities. But can governments simply take money from the rich and distribute it to everyone else? The reality is much more complicated. Wealth includes businesses, investments, real estate, and other assets. Governments cannot simply take away all privately owned wealth and redistribute it without creating other consequences. If businesses face excessive tax burdens, some may reduce investment, expand less, or hire fewer workers. This could create even more unemployment and economic hardship. The economy is interconnected. We cannot solve every problem simply by redistributing existing wealth. The real solution is to create more opportunities for ordinary people to participate in wealth creation, engage in economic activities, and improve their lives. Part 3: Currency Risks and International Settlement Challenges Beyond unemployment, debt, and inequality, the world also faces exchange-rate fluctuations, currency conversion risks, and challenges in international payments and settlements. Different countries use different currencies. International trade often requires currency conversion, and exchange-rate changes, transaction costs, and geopolitical tensions can create additional financial burdens for businesses and ordinary people. Is there an opportunity to develop a more open and convenient way to exchange value, allowing people to participate more directly in the global economy? This is a question worth exploring. If the global economy can develop a widely adopted digital value-exchange network in which merchants and consumers across different countries use the same digital currency directly, it could reduce the costs and risks associated with traditional currency conversion. This could open new possibilities for global commerce. Part 4: Why Do I Believe Pi Network Can Bring Hope? Dear Pioneers, despite these challenges, I believe there is still hope for humanity. Pi Network represents an important opportunity that we can build together. Pi Network has the potential to establish an open digital economic ecosystem where ordinary people from different countries and economic backgrounds can participate. Through application development, merchant networks, goods transactions, and service exchanges, Pi can create new opportunities for people to participate in economic activities and generate value. Imagine a future in which more merchants accept Pi, more businesses develop useful applications, and more consumers use Pi directly to purchase goods, pay for services, and participate in everyday commerce. For young people facing barriers in the traditional economy, a more open digital ecosystem could create new opportunities for entrepreneurship, business cooperation, and wealth creation. In international trade, if more merchants and consumers worldwide use Pi for goods and services, dependence on traditional currency conversion could be reduced. When both buyers and sellers use Pi directly for a transaction, there is no need to convert one national currency into another for that transaction. This is the direction we should work toward: building a more open global digital economy in which value can circulate more directly across countries and regions through real-world applications. For the GCV community, our mission is to promote community consensus, merchant cooperation, and real transactions. We want Pi to move beyond wallets and become part of everyday life through the exchange of real goods and services. Part 5: The Future Depends on Our Collective Efforts Dear Pioneers, Pi Network's potential will not automatically become reality simply because we hold Pi in our wallets. We must work together to transform this potential into real economic value. We need to educate more people, attract more merchants, develop practical applications, promote real transactions, and continue expanding the ecosystem. If we want Pi to create more economic opportunities for ordinary people, we must bring it into everyday life. If we want a more open global digital economy, merchants, consumers, and developers must work together to build it. We cannot simply wait or leave the future entirely in the hands of others. Every Pioneer can contribute through their own community, merchant network, and real-world applications. The future will not come automatically. We must build it together! Our goal is not merely to hold Pi. It is to work together to make Pi a digital currency with real economic utility, creating more opportunities for ordinary people to participate in the global economy, generate value, and pursue greater financial freedom. This is why I believe Pi Network deserves our collective commitment. Let us move forward together and turn this vision into reality—for ourselves, for ordinary people around the world, and for future generations. Let us build a more open and inclusive digital economy together! Doris Yin

GCV Pioneer Community Education Series #138 Financial Freedom Requires Both Economic Development and Technology! Technology Must Be Transformed into Productivity! Dear Pioneers, What are you ultimately striving for? Financial freedom! But if you believe that technological development alone, or staring at Code every day, will automatically bring you financial freedom, you are dreaming the impossible. Financial freedom cannot be achieved through technology alone. It requires economic development. Technology must be transformed into productivity to create real economic value! Part 1: Pioneers, You Cannot Remain in a State of Waiting Forever! Looking back at our journey, how many Pioneers have genuinely studied Pi Network’s goals, development direction, and economic vision? Some refuse to learn or understand the project, yet readily believe rumors and chase trends. Others spend every day watching Code and speculating about technical developments, but are unwilling to participate in building the ecosystem. Whenever something goes wrong, they complain. Whenever progress fails to meet their expectations, they become disappointed. Some even sell their Pi and leave the community. When will this cycle finally end? Learning, understanding, participating, and building are the right path for Pioneers. Waiting, misunderstanding, complaining, and giving up will never bring us closer to our goals! Pioneers are not spectators, nor are we people who simply wait for others to deliver results. We are builders of the Pi ecosystem and essential participants in its economic development. Part 2: Technology and the Economy Are Two Legs. Neither Can Be Missing! Technology and the economy are like the two legs of a person. Both legs must move forward together to reach the destination. Pi Network’s technological development is essential, but technology alone cannot automatically deliver financial freedom. Technology is the foundation, and the economy drives development. Technology must be transformed into productivity to create real economic value. If technology continues to advance while the economic ecosystem fails to grow alongside it, if users do not participate, merchants do not accept Pi, and applications do not meet real needs, then technology cannot reach its full potential. Pioneers must understand that our goal is not merely to watch technical statistics or wait endlessly for another Code update. Our goal is to see technology serve the real economy, create practical value, and meet people's economic needs. Therefore, we must encourage more people to use Pi, more merchants to accept Pi, and more practical applications to take root. Pi must become part of everyday life and real economic activity. Only when the economic ecosystem develops can technological achievements be transformed into productivity. Only by increasing productivity can financial freedom become a realistic possibility. Part 3: Pioneers and the Project Team Must Become Partners in Building the Future! Pioneers must correctly understand the relationship between the project team and the Pioneer community. The project team is responsible for technological development, system infrastructure, and other essential technical responsibilities. The Pioneer community must promote user participation, merchant adoption, economic development, and GCV consensus education. We have different responsibilities, but we are working toward a common goal. The project team cannot build the entire economy on behalf of every Pioneer, nor can it independently create a thriving community economy. Technological development requires Pioneer participation, and economic development requires Pioneer action. If Pioneers simply wait for the project team to solve every problem, while refusing to learn, participate, or help merchants and applications grow, how can the economic ecosystem develop? The project team drives technological development, while the Pioneer community drives economic development. Only through joint effort can technology and the economy advance together. Part 4: GCV Consensus and the Economic Ecosystem Require Collective Action! GCV represents the global consensus on Pi's value formed by the Pioneer community. This consensus must not only be communicated but also strengthened through education, practical applications, and economic activity. Pioneers cannot stop at verbal support, nor should we allow ourselves to be constantly distracted by unverified information. What truly matters is understanding Pi Network’s development vision, recognizing the significance of GCV consensus, and taking practical action to build the ecosystem. As more people understand and use Pi, more merchants become willing to accept it, and more applications develop around it, the community economy can grow progressively stronger. If Pioneers are continually distracted by rumors, blindly follow trends, or sell their Pi and abandon the community because they lack understanding, we weaken the very foundation needed for economic development. An economic ecosystem cannot be built by waiting. It must be built through the collective efforts of its participants. Part 5: Without Economic Foundations, There Can Be No Towering Tree! Pioneers, we must clearly recognize that a large economic ecosystem requires a strong community foundation, genuine user demand, broad merchant participation, and sustained application development. Without enough users, merchants willing to accept Pi, and real economic activity, technological progress alone cannot sustain a thriving economy. Whether large enterprises, financial institutions, banks, and other commercial organizations choose to participate will also depend on practical applications, user adoption, and the maturity of the economic ecosystem. This is precisely why I continue to promote GCV education. We must help more Pioneers understand Pi’s development direction, strengthen consensus, participate actively in economic development, and cultivate fertile ground for future growth. A barren soil cannot grow a towering tree. Without the support of a thriving economic ecosystem, technology cannot be fully transformed into productivity. Pioneers, stop wasting time on endless waiting, speculation, and complaints. Starting today, study seriously, understand the direction, share accurate information, encourage user participation, connect with merchants, develop applications, and work together to build Pi’s economic ecosystem. Remember: Financial freedom requires economic development! Technology and the economy must move forward together! Technology must be transformed into productivity to create real economic value! Pioneers, it is time to take action! Do not simply wait for results. Become the people who create them! Doris Yin

Doris Yin Wisdom Talk #22 Don't Lose the Big Picture by Focusing on the Small Things Dear Pioneers, Today, I want to share an important lesson with everyone: Don't lose sight of the forest for the trees. Don't get caught up in minor details and forget the bigger picture! In the Pi community, some influencers and bloggers spend their days analyzing issues and debating details while overlooking the direction that truly matters. You can research endlessly and analyze every little detail, but if you fail to understand the big picture, you will keep moving in circles without making real progress. So, what is our ultimate goal? Our goal is to make Pi a currency with real purchasing power, creating opportunities for Pioneers to achieve financial freedom through the growth of the ecosystem. For Pi to have purchasing power, it needs a stable and widely recognized value. This is precisely why we are building GCV — Global Consensus Value. However, GCV alone is not enough! Having a value consensus means little if people are unwilling to accept or use Pi. Without widespread acceptance and practical use, real purchasing power cannot be established. Our mission is to promote the widespread adoption and practical use of Pi, enabling more people to accept it and more merchants to integrate it into everyday economic activities. So, how do we achieve this goal? First, Pioneers must support Pi's long-term vision and actively participate in building the ecosystem. Greater community participation can help create a stronger foundation for accelerating KYC and migration progress. Second, we need a sufficiently large community united by a shared vision, positive thinking, and a constructive attitude toward Pi's future. As more Pioneers participate and more merchants accept Pi, we can gradually establish a stronger economic foundation. As the user base expands, practical applications grow, and the merchant ecosystem develops, governments, banks, major institutions, and businesses will have more opportunities to recognize Pi's potential value and evaluate participation with greater confidence. This is the path we must pursue: from consensus to acceptance, from acceptance to use, and from use to widespread adoption — gradually building an economic ecosystem in which Pi has real purchasing power. Let me use a ship as an analogy. The Core Team provides the blockchain, nodes, code, and other technical tools. Think of these tools as a ship built to take us toward our destination. But no matter how well the ship is built, if nobody gets on board and nobody sets sail, we will never reach the other shore. Technology provides the foundation. GCV represents our effort to establish value consensus. The participation of Pioneers, merchant acceptance, and real economic activity are essential to moving the ecosystem forward. Looking back at the First and Second Industrial Revolutions, we can see the same principle: technological progress must be combined with human participation and practical application to translate into productive power. So, Pioneers, do not spend all your energy getting lost in minor details. We need technical research, but we must also maintain the right direction, unite around a shared vision, and take meaningful action. Remember: Don't lose the big picture by focusing on the small things. See the forest, not just the trees. Unite our community, promote Pi's widespread adoption, and build real purchasing power. That is how we can move step by step toward the financial freedom we aspire to achieve! — Doris Yin

Berdasarkan GCV (Global Consensus Value) komunitas: 1 Pi = US$314,159 Maka perhitungannya: 1 USDC ($1) ÷ 314,159 = 0.000003183... ≈ 0.0000032 Pi (7 desimal) Ini artinya untuk membeli barang seharga 1 USDC, kamu hanya perlu membayar ∼0.0000032 Pi. Mengapa Ini Penting untuk PiFest & Map of Pi? 1. 2. Pi Sebagai Standar: Jika Pi menjadi mata uang global, semua harga (USDC, Rupiah, Dollar) akan dikonversi ke Pi, bukan sebaliknya. Ini visi ekonomi terdesentralisasi. 3. Jangan lelah belajar! Satu visi satu misi satu komunitas GCV satu ekosistem Pi 🦅 Bersatu kita teguh 😍 🦅 Terima kasih banyak 🙏 ❤️ Tn @mrbhenderson Wanita elang 🦅 🐎 Nonny Padja NTT 🇮🇩 Pejuang sejati Pi dan GCV 🦅 🐎

Doris Yin Wisdom Talk #21 Compassion Can Cause Harm; Excessive Accommodation Can Lead to Misconduct Compassion Requires Wisdom. Tolerance Requires Boundaries. Justice Requires Courage. Dear Pioneers, There is an ancient Chinese saying: “Compassion can cause harm, and excessive accommodation can lead to misconduct.” This saying does not mean that we should abandon compassion or stop helping others. Rather, it reminds us that compassion without wisdom, and tolerance without principles, can allow kindness to be exploited and turn goodwill into a tool for enabling wrongdoing. True compassion is not about accommodating everyone unconditionally. It means distinguishing right from wrong, recognizing good and evil, and protecting ourselves and others while helping those in need. 1. Kindness Must Have Boundaries In everyday life, we often encounter situations like these. Someone asks to borrow money and tells a heartbreaking story. Out of sympathy, you lend them your savings, only to find yourself struggling financially while the borrower may spend the money gambling or engaging in other irresponsible activities. Someone else promises high interest rates and paints an attractive picture of investment returns. You become excited by the opportunity, lower your guard, and eventually lose money instead of making a profit. Why does this happen? Sometimes, our sympathy is exploited, and our expectations of attractive promises overpower our rational judgment. Before helping others, understand the facts. Before trusting someone, verify the information. Never lose your judgment out of sympathy. Never trust promises blindly out of greed. And never abandon your principles simply because you are afraid of offending someone. True kindness means having the ability to help others and the wisdom to protect yourself. 2. Communities Must Uphold Principles and Protect Pioneers This principle is especially important within our communities. Some individuals may use their status, authority, reputation, influence, or large following to gain Pioneers’ trust. They may then solicit money, encourage investments, or promote projects that have not been properly verified. Some Pioneers assume that a person must be trustworthy simply because they hold a senior title, have many followers, or speak with authority. We must remain clear-minded: A title does not prove character. Reputation does not guarantee integrity. A large following does not make someone’s actions automatically right. We should judge people not merely by what they say, how much authority they hold, or how many people follow them, but by their actual conduct, financial transparency, supporting evidence for their promises, and willingness to accept oversight. If someone asks you to pay money, invest, purchase so-called qualification cards, or promises unusually high returns, verify the project’s legitimacy, the use of funds, the relevant authorization, and the potential risks first. Do not abandon your independent judgment because the person is a leader, an official, an acquaintance, or someone you do not want to offend. Communities also have a responsibility to warn Pioneers about potential risks, teach them how to recognize scams, and investigate and address concerns promptly. Appropriate action should be taken when evidence supports a violation. Suspected criminal conduct should be reported to the relevant authorities. A responsible community does not teach Pioneers to trust someone blindly. It teaches them to think independently. It does not wait until people have lost their money before taking action. It raises warnings early and works to protect every Pioneer’s financial security. Defending Justice Requires Courage There is another important issue we must confront. Some people see a problem but remain silent because they fear offending others, being attacked, or being accused of lacking compassion. They may notice someone abusing community influence or authority for personal gain but hesitate to warn others. They may see someone treated unfairly but refuse to speak up. If everyone is afraid of offending someone, who will protect those who have been harmed? If everyone remains silent to preserve superficial harmony, how can wrongdoing ever be corrected? Defending justice requires wisdom, but it also requires courage. Of course, we must never accuse people recklessly or attack others out of personal resentment. We must respect the facts, verify evidence, and handle concerns fairly. However, when the facts are clear and the evidence is sufficient, we must not abandon our responsibilities simply because we fear pressure or criticism. If someone tells you that you are not compassionate or tolerant enough, learn to distinguish genuine compassion from the use of compassion as an excuse to tolerate wrongdoing. If so-called tolerance allows a few individuals to repeatedly harm others, and if so-called compassion results in more innocent people suffering, then that tolerance has lost its true meaning. True compassion protects good people, prevents harm, and safeguards the legitimate interests of the majority. True tolerance has boundaries. True justice requires courage. 3. Governments Must Uphold the Law and Protect Society The same principle applies to an entire nation. There have been reports of vandalism, looting, and violent unrest in France and other European countries. Specific claims about the number of countries involved should be verified through reliable reporting. But one principle is clear: wherever such incidents occur, violent assaults, robbery, property destruction, and other criminal acts must be addressed according to law. If a country repeatedly tolerates violence and crime and fails to enforce its laws effectively, misconduct may go unchecked and social order can suffer serious consequences. Ordinary people may become afraid to leave their homes. Businesses may be unable to operate normally. Families may face threats to their safety and property. Over time, public confidence and trust throughout society can deteriorate. Governments therefore have a responsibility to exercise public authority lawfully, uphold the rule of law, and protect the lives, property, and legitimate rights of ordinary citizens. No one should believe that having a large crowd or creating a public disturbance gives them the right to place themselves above the law. Criminal conduct must be investigated, addressed, and prosecuted in accordance with the law. Law enforcement must be effective and fair, respect people's lawful rights, and firmly protect innocent people from violence. We must understand this: Punishing crime according to law is not a lack of compassion. Protecting law-abiding citizens is a fundamental responsibility to society. If a society emphasizes tolerance while neglecting victims’ rights, or focuses on the feelings of those who break the law while failing to protect the safety of law-abiding people, such so-called tolerance becomes a form of injustice. The law must have authority, and rules must be enforced. Only then can people live in peace, businesses operate with confidence, and society develop in a stable and orderly manner. 4. Compassion Must Walk Hand in Hand with Wisdom What is true wisdom? Wisdom means seeing the nature of a situation, discerning people's intentions, distinguishing right from wrong, and understanding the possible consequences of our actions. We should help those who genuinely need help, but we must not allow people with ulterior motives to exploit our kindness. We should give people who are willing to correct their mistakes an opportunity, but we must not endlessly tolerate repeated behavior that harms others. That is why I often remind everyone: Do not listen only to what you want to hear. An ancient Chinese saying teaches us: “Honest advice may be unpleasant to hear, but it helps us act wisely. Bitter medicine may taste unpleasant, but it helps cure illness.” Advice that genuinely benefits us may sometimes be uncomfortable. Facts we need to face may not always be what we want to hear. By contrast, sweet talk can make us feel good, and attractive promises can fill us with hope. But neither can replace facts and evidence. We must stay clear-minded, learn to think independently, avoid blindly worshipping authority, refuse to believe unverified information, and never abandon our judgment simply because we fear criticism. Wisdom prevents compassion from being exploited. Principles prevent kindness from being trampled. Courage prevents justice from being silenced. These are the abilities we must cultivate. Conclusion: Kindness Needs Principles, Compassion Needs Wisdom, and Justice Needs Courage Dear Pioneers, Whether in personal life, human relationships, community building, or national governance, we must understand one fundamental truth: Compassion does not mean accommodating everyone unconditionally. Tolerance does not mean having no boundaries. Kindness does not mean turning a blind eye to wrongdoing. We must help those who deserve help and remain alert to those who exploit the goodwill of others. We must protect every Pioneer in our community, especially their financial security. When we encounter injustice, we must have the courage to speak up. When crimes occur, we must insist on accountability under the law. Do not abandon your principles because you fear offending someone. Do not remain silent about justice because you fear being attacked. And never sacrifice the interests of the majority merely to preserve superficial harmony. Please remember: Compassion without wisdom can enable harm. Tolerance without principles can encourage wrongdoing. Justice without courage can become silence. We should be compassionate, but never blindly compassionate. We should be tolerant, but never tolerate wrongdoing without boundaries. We should be kind, but always uphold our principles. And if we are to defend justice, we must have the courage to speak the truth and protect innocent people. True compassion uses wisdom to distinguish right from wrong, principles to safeguard fairness, courage to resist injustice, and action to protect good people. Let us cultivate compassion and wisdom together, uphold our principles and boundaries, and courageously defend justice. Let us build healthier communities, a fairer society, and an environment where every ordinary person can live safely and peacefully. This is true compassion. This is true wisdom. And this is the justice we must stand together to uphold. Doris Yin

GCV Pioneer Community Education Series #137 Reason and Responsibility: How to Build a Better Future in Times of Crisis From Social Unrest in France to National Fiscal Challenges and the Development of the Pi Network Ecosystem Author: Doris Yin We all want a better life. We want governments to provide better social benefits and society to create more opportunities for us. But we must also ask ourselves: Where does wealth come from? Where does government money come from? If everyone wants more but no one is willing to accept responsibility and create value, how long can society continue to prosper? A nation's prosperity cannot depend on benefits and redistribution alone. It also requires productivity, hard work, and the contributions of every member of society. France is a high-welfare country. In the past, when economic development, productivity, and social security could support one another, its welfare system had a sound foundation and provided protection for many citizens. However, times are changing. An aging population, slower growth in the working-age population, and insufficient economic growth are creating new challenges for the existing welfare system. A system that was sustainable in the past may not remain sustainable under changing conditions without adjustments. In the face of these realities, we need rational analysis, shared responsibility, and practical solutions—not endless blame and division. 1. Social Unrest in France: How Can We Express Our Concerns While Accepting Social Responsibility? I understand that people have their own concerns and the right to express dissatisfaction. However, we must recognize one important principle: even when our demands are justified, we must consider how we pursue them and what consequences our actions may bring. Large demonstrations can escalate emotionally. They may also be exploited by individuals with ulterior motives or by opportunists seeking to take advantage of the situation. The original demands can be overshadowed by violence, and peaceful demonstrations can deteriorate into vandalism and looting. When shops, supermarkets, luxury boutiques, public buildings, and historical sites are damaged, we must ask ourselves: Who ultimately bears the cost? First, businesses suffer, and ordinary people suffer with them. When shops are looted or vandalized, business owners face not only the loss of merchandise but also repair expenses, security costs, business interruptions, and lost revenue. If companies no longer consider a location safe for business, they may reduce investment, close stores, or move their operations elsewhere. Supermarkets provide food and daily necessities to local residents. If stores close or leave, shopping becomes less convenient. For people who are already struggling financially, life becomes even more difficult. Second, tourism and a city's reputation can also suffer. France has a rich cultural heritage, historic architecture, and world-famous tourist destinations. Visitors come to experience its history and culture, not to encounter damaged buildings, shattered storefronts, and chaotic streets. If violence and destruction continue, tourists may cancel their trips, and hotels, restaurants, shops, and tour operators may lose business. Employment opportunities can also be affected. Historic buildings can require enormous sums to repair once damaged, and some losses cannot easily be reversed. Third, governments must spend money repairing damaged public infrastructure. Schools, roads, public buildings, and other infrastructure require funding when they are damaged. Yet governments may already be facing fiscal pressure. If they must spend additional money on repairs, cleanup, and security, the financial burden becomes even heavier. This creates a vicious cycle: the weaker the economy becomes, the less money the government has; the less money the government has, the harder it becomes to address public needs; and further economic destruction only makes the situation worse. If our goal is to improve people's lives, we should seek solutions rather than destroy the foundations that allow society to function. 2. France's High-Welfare System: Where Does the Money Come From? France has long maintained an extensive welfare system. A high level of social welfare is not inherently a problem. When the economy generates sufficient resources and society can afford the associated costs, a strong welfare system can protect people's living standards and contribute to social stability. The challenge is that a welfare system must be supported by the continuous creation of wealth. When a country has a relatively young population, a sufficient workforce, strong economic growth, and rising productivity, more workers can contribute through employment, taxes, and social security payments to support pensions, healthcare, education, and other public services. However, when the population ages, the number of retirees increases, the working-age population grows more slowly, and economic growth and productivity gains are insufficient to support rising public expenditure, the existing welfare system faces increasing pressure. More people need pensions and public services, while the number of people creating wealth, paying taxes, and supporting social security may grow more slowly or decline relative to those receiving benefits. When the wealth a country produces is insufficient to support its existing commitments, fiscal pressure becomes increasingly apparent. This does not mean that high welfare is inherently wrong. It means we must face reality: every welfare system requires a sufficiently strong economic foundation. If the wealth created by society grows slowly while public expenditure continues to rise, governments must seriously consider how to improve productivity, expand the economy, increase employment, and maintain sustainable public finances. France's fiscal challenges are also connected to public debt, budget deficits, economic competitiveness, demographic changes, and government spending. They cannot be attributed to a single cause. Some people may question the government's fiscal priorities, arguing that substantial amounts of money have been directed toward defense or support for Ukraine. These are government policy decisions. I will not make unwarranted judgments about them or presume to determine the merits of every individual decision. However, one point must be clear: defense spending serves a long-term purpose. It is necessary to protect national security, safeguard citizens' lives and property, and defend a country's interests. A country cannot focus exclusively on immediate social benefits while ignoring its long-term security. Building and maintaining defense capabilities often requires sustained investment. A nation cannot wait until a serious security threat emerges before beginning to prepare. As for money already spent in the past, whether on defense or other public expenditure, those decisions have already been made and the money has already been spent. We cannot turn back time, nor can we expect every past expenditure to be recovered. Therefore, instead of endlessly dwelling on the past, we should seriously consider what needs to be done next. The past has already happened. What matters now is looking forward, improving national governance, revitalizing the economy, making public finances more sustainable, and improving people's lives. Governments must allocate spending responsibly, and society must understand the realities a country faces. Fiscal challenges cannot be solved simply by cutting one category of expenditure while ignoring deeper problems such as insufficient productivity, population aging, and sluggish economic growth. If the economy develops sustainably, businesses are willing to invest, and workers create more value, government revenues can improve and the welfare system can gain a stronger foundation. 3. Even the Best Cook Cannot Make a Meal Without Rice There is a Chinese saying: Even the most capable cook cannot prepare a meal without rice. No matter how skilled a cook may be, without rice, there is no rice to cook. Likewise, even if a government wants to improve education, expand welfare, increase pensions, maintain national defense, and repair public infrastructure, it must have sufficient financial resources. If economic growth is inadequate and government revenue is limited while public expenditure continues to increase, the government will face difficult choices. If we want better healthcare, better education, more reliable pensions, and safer living conditions, we must consider how to create enough wealth to support these goals. Without rice, we can grow more, buy more, or increase production. But if we destroy the kitchen as well, how are we supposed to prepare a meal? A country needs stable businesses, hardworking people, sustained investment, technological innovation, and higher productivity. Only when the economic foundation becomes stronger can governments gain greater capacity to protect people's livelihoods. We cannot focus only on how much money the government should spend. We must also consider how much wealth society actually produces and how much more it can generate in the future. 4. Population Aging and Retirement: We Must Share the Responsibility Another long-term challenge facing France is population aging and the growing pressure on pension expenditure. As the number of retirees increases while the working-age population grows more slowly or declines, society must confront a fundamental question: the number of people creating wealth, paying taxes, and contributing to pension systems may shrink relative to the number of people receiving pensions. If everyone wants to retire earlier while also demanding higher pensions and better public services, we must ask: Who will work? Who will create wealth? Who will contribute to the pension system? Young people face their own financial pressures. They must pay for housing, raise children, support their families, and contribute through their work and social security payments to the wider system. If there are not enough workers and productivity does not improve, the burden on younger generations may become increasingly heavy. Therefore, we must rethink the relationship between work, retirement, and social responsibility. There is a Chinese saying: “Diligence leads to prosperity.” Hard work means making an effort to create wealth through employment, production, and innovation. For people who are able to work and whose health permits, extending their working lives where appropriate and increasing workforce participation can raise economic output and help ease pressure on pension systems. Retirement policies must also account for differences in occupations, working conditions, and individual health. Nevertheless, in an aging society, we must seriously discuss retirement ages, workforce participation, and how to make pension systems more sustainable. We cannot focus only on how early we would like to retire while completely ignoring who will support us financially after retirement. If everyone wants to retire early but there are not enough people continuing to work, how can younger generations sustain an increasingly demanding pension system? This is not a conflict between young and old. It is a shared responsibility that society must address together. We must protect the well-being of older people while preserving a sustainable economic future for younger generations. 5. National Prosperity Requires Shared Responsibility: Moving Forward Together When a country faces fiscal and economic challenges, we should not remain trapped in endless arguments about the past or constant accusations against one another. Governments have a responsibility to develop sound fiscal policies, improve the business environment, enhance governance, and create the conditions for economic growth. Businesses have a responsibility to invest, innovate, and create employment. Workers have a responsibility to work diligently, improve their skills, and create value. Members of society also need to understand the challenges their country faces and consider the long-term interests of the whole community while protecting their own rights. Defense, education, healthcare, pensions, and infrastructure all require resources. We must address people's immediate needs while preparing for the nation's future. There is a well-known Chinese saying: “The rise and fall of the nation is the responsibility of every citizen.” Its meaning is clear: a nation's future is not solely the responsibility of its government. It is also closely connected to the actions of every citizen. When a country faces difficulties, we should unite, work hard, improve productivity, support economic development, and seek solutions together. We cannot change what has already happened, but through our actions today, we can shape what happens tomorrow. Instead of endlessly arguing over who was right or wrong in the past, we should focus our energy on making the country stronger, revitalizing the economy, and improving people's security and quality of life. True responsibility means not merely demanding that others change, but starting with ourselves and creating greater value for society. 6. Pi Network Is No Different: Everyone Must Participate in Building the Ecosystem The same principle applies to the development of the Pi Network ecosystem. Some Pioneers constantly ask when Pi will increase in value, when the ecosystem will mature, and when others will create opportunities for them. Yet they are unwilling to learn, use Pi, support merchants, participate in application development, or engage in real economic activity. They want a prosperous ecosystem but are unwilling to help build it. They want others to create value while they simply wait to benefit. If everyone wants to receive value but no one is willing to create it, how can the ecosystem grow? An ecosystem needs users, merchants, developers, applications, and real economic activity. Only when more people participate, provide goods and services, and establish practical use cases can the ecosystem continue to develop. This principle is closely connected to the development of a national economy. A country needs workers, entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators. The Pi Network ecosystem needs users, merchants, developers, and builders. Pi Network offers people new economic opportunities. To turn these opportunities into real momentum for ecosystem development, Pioneers must learn actively, participate, support merchants, promote practical applications, and create value through concrete actions. Opportunities become results only when combined with action. An ecosystem grows only when people work together to build it. We cannot spend all our time waiting for others to create opportunities while doing nothing ourselves. 7. True Wisdom: Accept Responsibility and Build a Better Future I have always believed that a wise person must learn to see the bigger picture rather than focus exclusively on immediate personal interests. We can express our concerns, ask governments to improve public services, and raise objections to policies we consider unreasonable. But we must also consider the consequences of our actions and understand what a country needs for long-term development. A country needs a stable business environment, continuous wealth creation, responsible public spending, and the understanding, hard work, and contributions of its people. Likewise, an ecosystem can develop only when people are willing to learn, participate, and build. A nation's prosperity requires everyone to accept responsibility. An ecosystem's growth requires everyone to participate in building it. True progress does not come from continually demanding more from others. It comes from asking ourselves what value we can contribute to society. We cannot change the past, but we can change our actions today and influence the direction of tomorrow. If we want a better life, we must help create the conditions for a better life. If we want a stronger nation, we must share the responsibility of building it. If we want a better future, we must begin working toward it today. Reason helps us understand reality. Responsibility gives us a sense of duty. Action is what truly changes the future. That is the essence of wisdom. — Doris Yin

Doris Yin: Europe Must Unite to Overcome the Debt Crisis — Learn from South Korea and Build a New Financial Future Europe is facing a serious challenge. France and several other European countries are struggling with high public debt, persistent budget deficits, rising borrowing costs, and growing social tensions. The recent student protests in France, which have spread to other European countries, began with concerns about education funding, school conditions, and the cost of living. These concerns deserve attention. However, we must also understand the deeper economic pressures facing governments. When a country carries enormous debt, the government cannot simply spend more money indefinitely without considering how that spending will be financed. Interest payments consume public resources that could otherwise support education, healthcare, infrastructure, and social services. France's borrowing costs have risen sharply, with its 10-year government bond yield exceeding 5% in October 2026. Its fiscal challenges have become more difficult amid political divisions and delays in passing the national budget. This is precisely when a nation needs unity, clear thinking, and responsible action—not escalating conflict that makes an already difficult situation worse. 1. Protest Alone Cannot Solve a Debt Crisis When governments face financial pressure, difficult decisions must be made. Pension reform, public spending, taxation, employment, and economic growth are all interconnected. France has struggled to advance pension reform, including the proposal to raise the retirement age from 62 to 64. Such changes are controversial because they affect people's lives. Nevertheless, when populations age and the number of retirees grows relative to the working population, pension systems face increasing pressure. We must recognize a fundamental economic reality: a country cannot permanently solve its financial problems simply by demanding more spending while ignoring its ability to generate revenue. Violence, destruction, prolonged political paralysis, and declining investor confidence can make recovery more difficult. When investors demand higher interest rates to lend to a government, the cost of servicing public debt rises, placing even greater pressure on public finances. The answer is not to ignore people's concerns. It is to address those concerns while confronting the country's economic reality honestly and responsibly. 2. Learn from South Korea: Turn Crisis into Collective Action When I traveled to South Korea, my tour guide told me about the Korean people's response to the 1997 Asian financial crisis. During that difficult period, millions of Koreans voluntarily contributed their gold jewelry—including wedding rings and other treasured possessions—to help the country address its foreign debt and currency crisis. This became known as the national gold-collection campaign. It demonstrated the extraordinary power of collective responsibility. The campaign alone did not resolve the crisis. South Korea also undertook major financial and corporate restructuring and worked to restore international confidence. Yet the people's willingness to act together remains a powerful lesson for the world. When a nation faces a serious crisis, its citizens must understand the situation, work together, and contribute to economic recovery in practical ways. We should learn from this spirit: instead of allowing disagreements to divide society further, people can unite to improve productivity, strengthen businesses, create employment, develop new industries, and build a stronger economic future. 3. The World Needs a New Financial Paradigm The challenges facing France are not unique. Many countries are dealing with high debt, rising living costs, economic uncertainty, and pressure on public finances. These problems invite us to think beyond conventional approaches and explore new ways to create economic value, expand participation, and strengthen cooperation. As the founder and chairperson of the Global GCV Movement, I believe that Pi Network offers pioneers an opportunity to participate in building a new economic ecosystem. Pi's vision deserves to be studied seriously. Through learning, practical participation, merchant adoption, and the development of useful applications, pioneers can help advance a community-driven economic model. This requires effort from all of us. We cannot simply wait for others to change the world. We must educate ourselves, understand the Pi white paper, support ecosystem development, and turn our collective participation into meaningful economic activity. 4. Every Pioneer Can Contribute We have pioneers across Europe and around the world. Many people have a mobile phone and can dedicate just one minute each day to learning, sharing knowledge, and supporting the development of the Pi ecosystem. Imagine what we can accomplish when millions of people work consistently toward a shared vision. We can educate more citizens about economic participation, encourage merchant adoption, support practical applications, and help communities understand the opportunities offered by emerging digital economies. We must also recognize that meaningful economic progress requires real productivity, useful services, responsible participation, and sustainable economic activity. A better future will not be built by waiting, complaining, or fighting endlessly. It will be built by people who learn, cooperate, create value, and take action. France and Europe need solutions that strengthen their economies and restore confidence. The world needs more cooperation, greater economic participation, and new approaches to creating value. Let us learn from South Korea's spirit of unity, recognize the challenges facing our societies, and work together toward a new financial future. Pioneers, let us study the Pi white paper, support Pi's vision, expand real-world adoption, and contribute our time and knowledge to building a better economic ecosystem. Even one minute a day can become meaningful when millions of people act together. The future belongs to those who recognize the challenges, unite their efforts, and turn opportunities into action. 5. Pi Network Can Give Ordinary People New Opportunities Pi Network can help resolve many uncertainties and give ordinary people opportunities to change their lives. Therefore, I strongly recommend that all pioneers across European countries learn from South Korea's spirit of unity, value the opportunity Pi offers, and actively contribute to the Pi community and ecosystem. Pi Network can provide us with opportunities to work toward financial freedom and create a better future for ourselves and our families. Let us cherish this opportunity, support Pi's vision, and work together to build a new economic future. Thank you so much, everyone. Doris Yin Founder & Chairperson Global GCV Movement
