Whatβs more entertaining & meaningful?
Earning your way into a higher league by winning games or paying a franchise fee to cut in line?

Iβm reminded how good and healthy these youth soccer tournament environments are for young players. Also, Iβm so impressed with the diversity and individuality that is shown in our current soccer landscape. @CarliLloyd was surely wrong her latest interview π€. Enjoy some pics!

Dear @StubHub
Please help me explain to my #10 how tickets we bought on your site, to see his soccer idol #Messiπ΅ , were abruptly canceled by the seller and possibly relisted for 7-8x more than what we bought them for? I donβt have the heart to break the news to him. #notright

Many youth clubs have next to zero or substandard β½οΈ GK knowledge within the club.
Being a former GK, I was far from knowledgeable about coaching.
I had to go seek out the coaching skills & knowledge.
I had to hone my craft.
It took years.
Many Clubs are letting their GKβs down.
This whole:
Oh we have a former (or current, college GK, they are great!)
statement I hear isnβt coming through in what Iβm seeing on the pitch.
Someone with some knowledge looks great when DOCβs & HC have zero knowledge.
Clubs by & large need to do better by their keepers
Then these same clubs sell a bag of bull π© to their GK core that they are DI material.
Bad on crosses.
Bad on Distribution.
Inconsistent.
Bad on decision making.
Oh, but look at them fly!
What a save! Must be a DI GK.
Lack of GK education is hurting these kids & is misleading them about their future.
And parents: βwe are so lucky to have such great GK coaches at our clubβ
By what GK knowledge & experience are you making this statement?
Because the proof is in the pudding & In general, itβs not showing up on the pitch across this nation.
Many of Our clubs are letting our GKβs down.

βFamily heritage, history, quality, massive brands/clubs.. etc?β All of these passions were built on a pro/rel system. Better storylines w/more consequences, more pain w/relegation, more elation w/promotion. Itβs a superior sporting model.
What is it with this country and its desperate attempt to divide things?

Our new name and crest are inspired by the union of our two clubs that are connected by I-10.
GCR and Mobile United continue to honor our shared values of the development of the player, pursuit of excellence, character development, and developing the long term player.
