Just feel like letting everyone know that the reason I'm so dead set on having the "classic" style be an option for drift is that he quite literally is the reason i started playing the game, and not being able to get him or have remakes done properly just makes it sting 10x more

If your game FEELS good to play, that will keep players playing. If everything looks and functions really well, that will really get people hooked. Movement animations are part of that, and the current animations never really felt good to have compared to the old ones, despite how much I became accustomed to them.
The old ones felt a lot more accurate to whatever you were doing and felt way better in general.

EVERY chapter now being forced to end with this same formula is exhausting and ruins a lot of the impact that the end of a chapter used to have.

It doesn’t feel smooth, natural, or responsive anymore it feels like I’m controlling a character who’s fighting against the game just to WALK. The old movement had weight and flow. This new animation system looks awkward, stiff, and completely disconnected

When a human being runs 25 mph, it’s an accomplishment because a HUMAN BEING achieved it.
Nobody gives a shit if a machine spits out the code, art, and animations and creates a game. The reason games are successful comes from people experiencing the developer’s own vision. It’s not just about the product and the profit, it’s about seeing people’s ideas come to life through their own work.
Here’s a hard-to-swallow pill for people who support AI: Having dreams and ideas is not actually impressive, everybody has them. It’s putting in the effort yourself to make them happen that makes it impressive, and if you think people will still appreciate that when you used an AI to do the hard work for you then you clearly don’t know what it means to truly create.
