Our third graders are practicing reference sources and when to use them through a Gimkit today! As a wrap-up, we reflected on how we did. We agree—we are getting it, but we need more practice before we can be masters. I love when students take charge of their own learning!

We played a student created game today using teacher’s kit. “Creative” in @GimKit is amazing. True game designer experience - we asked “testers” what challenges did they face, what could be better, etc. It was fantastic! Let your students create!

Years ago, I told Mikey that the co-creator of @gimkit, Josh Feinsilber, was in high school when he created Gimkit in 2017. Mikey was inspired and has been a fan of Josh and the gaming platform ever since. This week at #ISTELive24, Mikey met Josh and they spent time talking.
