I read JD Vance's post on this site yesterday and at first I was shocked. The Vice President all but admitted that his own administration made a mistake going to war with Iran. I can't think of a sitting VP breaking with his President this publicly in my lifetime.
And at first glance his analysis seems spot on. His first prescription is to end the war. A war that he and the President, until this week, refused to even call a war.
It's hard to disagree with him. But like everything MAGA, the thread of truth is there to hide the larger truth. And the larger truth is this.
Tuesday was the greatest repudiation of a sitting President by voters in the history of this country.
Not a repudiation of a policy. A repudiation of a man.
The message was not only about Iran or Israel or slogans or even the price at the pump. The message was simple.
WE ARE DONE WITH DONALD TRUMP.
We are done with his lies. We are done with the corruption and the gaslighting. We are done with the insanity. We are done with the cruelty.
The message from Mississippi to Iowa, from Kansas to Maine, from North Carolina to Texas, young and old, North and South, East and West, was the same.
Fuck Donald Trump.
This country desperately needs a healthy Republican Party. A party with room for Mitt Romney and Thomas Massie, for Chris Christie and (I can't believe I'm saying this) Marjorie Taylor Greene. A party that puts this constitutional republic above the interests of one man. A party that knows the difference between a Ken Paxton and a John Cornyn, between a Vivek Ramaswamy and a Mike DeWine.
That is the message voters sent on Tuesday, with more ballots cast than in any midterm in American history.
WE ARE DONE WITH DONALD TRUMP.
The sooner the brave members of whatever remains of the Republican Party understand that, the sooner we can begin to heal.
I hope Democrats in Congress heard it too. Voters sent the same message in 2020, and we failed to make it stick. I for one don't think this country can afford 26 more months of this madness before we do the one thing voters just demanded in historic numbers.
Trump needs to leave, and he needs to leave now.
All it would take this January is eleven Republican senators willing to acknowledge the existential threat this lawless President poses to the country and the world. Eleven brave Republicans need to stand up and end this madness. Save their party. Save the country.
It's up to all of us to give them the courage to do what's right.

Tonight, the American people sent a clear message — they want a politics that brings people together rather than divides them, and leaders who offer concrete solutions to the challenges they face.
These results were only possible because outstanding candidates stepped forward in every region of the country — including in areas once considered long shots. They came from different backgrounds and represented a range of political perspectives, but were united by shared values, a belief in public service, and a commitment to putting the people of their districts and states first.
We also owe a debt of gratitude to the thousands of election officials and volunteers from both parties who helped ensure a smooth election and carried out one of the most essential functions of our democracy.
While this administration has another two years in office, our job now is to roll up our sleeves, make changes wherever we have the power to do so, prevent further damage, and lay the groundwork for the future.

BREAKING: Hakeem Jeffries dances on Mike Johnson’s political grave with the perfect trolling taunt after last night’s blue tsunami.
It’s time to put these fascists in their place…
“Mike Johnson was correct. The polls were wrong. It wasn’t simply a blue wave; it was an American tsunami!” Jeffries mocked at a press conference.
Republicans like Johnson insisted right up to Election Day that the polls were wrong and that their party would overperform at the ballot box. Instead, we witnessed the greatest collapse of a political movement in modern history as MAGA crumbled and Democrats swept the night.
Johnson has already signaled that he will not seek the role of House Minority Leader after Democrats take control of the chamber. In fact, he’s even floating the idea that he might retire from government and start a “lawn business.” He can’t possibly be any worse at that than he was at being Speaker.
“The American people have chosen the economy over extremism,” said Jeffries, who is the frontrunner for the gavel. “The American people have chosen House Democrats because they want to see a dramatic change in direction, and that’s exactly what House Democrats will deliver on Day One.”
He vowed that Democrats will use their mandate to tackle the issues that Americans most care about: solving the affordability crisis, expanding ObamaCare subsidies, reversing MAGA cuts to Medicaid, cutting of Trump’s tariffs, and ending the disastrous war with Iran.
“Democrats promised a new path forward, and last night, the voters delivered a mandate for it,” said Jeffries.
Now that the sun is setting on Johnson’s reign, let’s briefly enumerate his “accomplishments.” He rubber-stamped a pointless war that skyrocketed gas prices, oversaw the coverup of the Epstein files, and handed Texas to Democrats. He will go down as one of the most spineless, ineffective Speakers in American history.
Please ❤️ and share to wish Johnson good riddance!

BREAKING: SWEET REVENGE! The Navy Admiral who Pete Hegseth fired DEFEATS her MAGA opponent to win a House seat in South Carolina — cementing the blue tsunami with a poetic flourish!
This is just too beautiful...
Democrat Nancy Lacore, a 35-year Navy veteran who rose through the ranks from helicopter pilot to become Chief of Navy Reserve, was fired in August of 2025 amid Hegseth's purging of high-ranking women in the military. While no official reason was given, the deeply misogynistic Hegseth has not been coy about his caveman belief that only testosterone-injecting men should serve.
Lacore has now defeated Republican Jenny Costa Honeycutt to seize a seat that was formerly held by MAGA lunatic Nancy Mace who launched a failed bid for the governor's mansion this year.
Lacore has not been shy about criticizing Hegseth's disastrous mismanagement of the Defense Department, particularly his failed Iran War.
"Pete Hegseth is the most unqualified Secretary of Defense that we have ever had, and he is doing significant damage to our military that it will really take decades to undo," she said, adding that he "needs to go."
The most beautiful irony here? Congresswoman Lacore could soon be voting with the rest of the Democratic majority in the House to impeach Pete Hegseth. We have subpoena power starting in January, so we'll be able to uncover all of the gross negligence and rampant criminality that he's overseen.
Ain't karma grand?
Please ❤️ and share if you support impeaching Pete Hegseth!

BREAKING: LOL! Trump's election-eve speech takes a BIZARRE detour into algae, water, and his favorite reflecting pool conspiracy theories.
With all the polls indicating that the Republican Party is facing massive defeat in the mid-term elections tomorrow, all eyes were on Donald Trump as he made what was expected to be his closing arguments meant to turn the tide on the blue tsunami headed his way.
Instead, Trump wound up spending the first 20 minutes of his speech talking about one of his favorite obsessions, the place where the event was being held — the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
He began by announcing the reopening of the long-shuttered pool, originally due to have its renovations and repairs completed in time for Trump’s grand America 250 celebration in July. In making the announcement, he also added this ill-advised joke: “We’re giving serious thought to changing the name to the Trump reflecting pool. We’ll announce that sometime tomorrow. I’m sure Secretary Burgum will have a lot of fun in announcing that.”
Trump quickly retracted the renaming idea, adding, “I’m only kidding. I’m only kidding. Please don’t report it.” Apparently, he’s beginning to catch on to the fact that people aren’t exactly fond of his renaming spree.
Still, he hasn’t quite realized that people are equally sick of his phony claims that it was vandalism, not the crappy job done by the no-bid contractor that he hired to apply the coating to the pool, that was the problem that delayed the reopening until now.
“We went through a lot with vandalism. The vandalism was unprecedented,” he claimed despite the fact that both investigators and the contractor found that the damage was caused by installation errors and the flawed chemical design of the coating used on the pool.
Still, Trump droned on about the dimensions of the pool, its water sources, and the algae that has plagued the pool (something he blamed on Obama and Biden, conveniently forgetting his own first term that took place in between those administrations), even using photos of the algae as a visual aid.
He then went back to accusing vandals of slashing the pool’s lining: “The vandals went to work, but we also went to work on the vandals.”
Trump apparently missed the fact that every attempt by the DOJ to prosecute anyone for Trump’s fantasized vandalism was thrown out of court, with prejudice, for lack of evidence. He continued to claim that he has “pictures’ of the vandals at work, and cited a Fox News segment by Jesse Watters as his proof.
Trump eventually moved on to repeating his lies about his own performance as president, fraudulent elections, and about Democrats, all in hopes of salvaging his minion’s electoral chances. But you could tell his heart wasn’t really into it, and he eventually returned to the only things he seems truly interested in these days with his spiral into dementia: his plans to remodel Washington DC with his grotesque triumphal arch/military complex and the renovation of the city’s public golf course.
If Trump hoped to change any voters’ minds with his speech today, his failure to do so will become obvious tomorrow once the election results start arriving. In the meantime, his rambling remarks only proved to demonstrate why he’s unfit to continue as president.
Please like and share if you think so too!

Trump’s oil deal with Venezuela was negotiated in secret. Now we know why. The contract just leaked, and it doesn’t say what Trump says it says.
What it does say is that we bought 35 percent of a company for a penny a share. The company is run by Alejandro Betancourt, a Venezuelan businessman who’s been investigated for money laundering in Switzerland, Spain, and the United States. DOJ officials reportedly asked foreign governments to close those investigations and let him travel.
The parent company is registered through a Barbados shell, so nobody can see who the other owners are. Any dispute goes to a court in Texas. One person involved said it was built to insulate the deal from future administrations.
The company pumps about 200,000 barrels a day. America burns through that in 15 minutes. If this were a good deal, they wouldn’t have had to hide it. I break it all down in today’s show (link in reply).

That's a lot. We had it in Iowa. Iowa was fantastic last night. How about me. I come home, get into the building, get into a gorgeous White House that's now fully renovated and beautiful again. So I got my guys and we took the good ones and put it on the bad one and we cleaned up everything and we skimmed the entire building. It's so beautiful. We replaced the floor. We replaced the Home Depot one by one. The little ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. You buy the marble. It's about a half an inch thick like this. We replaced it with statuary. The white and black. Beautiful. That was Rome. That was Greece
