Karim Lopez is a potential lottery pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. 📈
At 6'9", 225 lbs with a plus wingspan, he moves like a wing but plays with a big's physicality.
What stands out most? His IQ. He reads the game before it happens — smart off-ball cuts, timely passes on ball, and the ability to grab a defensive rebound and push pace in transition before defenses can set.
Lopez is a physical player who plays a tough brand of basketball on both ends of the floor. On the defensive end, he flashes incredible instincts and has the physicality to guard against bigs with his powerful base. Lopez is also a tenacious rebounder.
The shooting (32.6% from 3) is still developing, but he showed more confidence and conviction this season. 11.9 PPG, 6.1 RPG, 1.9 APG, 1.2 STL, 1.0 BLK — in under 26 minutes. The upside is real.

JUCO Casper College is set to hire Arizona State’s Ty Larson as its next head coach, a source told @On3.
Just 27 years old, Larson has quickly built a strong résumé. He spent the last two seasons at ASU as Special Assistant to Bobby Hurley and previously served as Director of Recruiting at Texas under Rodney Terry and Chris Beard. He began his career at Texas Tech under Beard.

Tonight was supposed to be a beautiful evening for Keenan Evans and Olympiacos…
The American guard was set to make his long-awaited return to the EuroLeague after 581 days away — and he did. Evans made his EuroLeague debut with Olympiacos, but sadly, just 2 minutes and 1 second later, time seemed to freeze. In an innocent-looking play, Keenan fell to the floor holding his left Achilles, and his heartbreaking “NO WAY” left us all stunned. 😣
Unfortunately, the worst fears were confirmed — Evans has suffered the third major injury of his career.
Back in January 2023, he tore his right Achilles tendon, only to come back stronger and better than ever. Then, in May 2024, during a Lithuanian League game, he tore his patellar tendon. And now, on November 12, in his long-awaited EuroLeague return, he has suffered another Achilles tear — this time in his left leg. 😔
A player who has never given up — and we are certain he won’t this time either.
It’s truly heartbreaking for someone who’s been through so much to once again be held back from showing his talent.
Keenan, we know you’ll come back stronger from this battle. We can’t wait to see you back on the court. Stay strong. 🙏🏼❤️

Tough to learn that Texas Tech superfan Jeff Orr passed away. This guy did nothing but drive from Waco to Lubbock for Tech basketball games for years. I even quoted him about Bob Knight in the DMN. He was 64. Guns Up Forever, my man.

I'm shocked and saddened by the news regarding @TexasTechMBB fan Jeff Orr. No one was more loyal for so many years and he was there home or away. I'll miss seeing him for sure. RIP Jeff and Guns Up sir. 🫡
