⚠️ APPEAL FOR INFORMATION ⚠️
Last night one of our volunteers was assaulted while carrying out their duties supporting vulnerable people in Glasgow. The volunteer was punched in the head by this individual.
We are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the male pictured. If you recognise him or have any information that could help the police investigation, please contact Police Scotland on 101 and quote Incident Number: 01/08/2026-0612.
Alternatively, you can send us a private message or email with any information, and we will ensure it is passed directly to the investigating officers.
Our volunteers give their time freely to help those with nowhere else to turn. No one should face violence for showing compassion.

Elon Musk satisfied the demands and provided a list of shareholders of "X Holding Corp", who helped the billionaire buy Twitter.
Among them are Petr Aven and Vadim Moshkovich.
Petr Aven is a Russian billionaire, founder of Alfa Group, one of the main wallets for Putin. Aven is one of Putin's oldest friends. Putin would be in prison instead of becoming president without him. Aven covered for Vladimir Putin in 1992, when he organized an illegal trade in export licenses; he was also present at a meeting with Putin on February 24, 2022, in the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine. He did not express any protest against "SVO" and supported Putin. By the way, he, together with Fridman, is trying to lift sanctions from himself, just yesterday he received another refusal in this matter.
In the purchase of Twitter he is represented by the company "8VC Opportunities Fund II, LP", where his son Denis works.
Vadim Moshkovich is a sanctioned Russian agricultural billionaire who was a member of the "Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation." In other words, he was officially part of Putin's inner circle. Moshkovich owns Russia's largest agricultural holding, Rusagro. Naturally, he was also present at the meeting with Putin on February 24, 2022, and, like Aven, did not express any protest against Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
In the purchase of Twitter he is represented by the company "8VC Opportunities Fund II, LP", where his son Jack (Eugene) works.
Knowing all this, we now understand Elon Musk's bias. Everyone was wondering how it was possible that Twitter shares (X) were falling, advertisers were breaking contracts, and no one was doing anything. This was direct damage to investors. But everyone failed to take into account the fact that investors needed a platform to promote their narratives, such as: support for Putin and Russia; lobbying for freezing the war in Ukraine; removing the Ukrainian agenda from the top news etc.
It is now clear that all the changes on Twitter that are ruining this wonderful platform are a result of Elon Musk's collaboration with people like Moshkovich and Aven.

In Odessa today with @ZelenskyyUa I made clear that Britain's commitment to stand with the Ukrainian people is steadfast.
We will step up UK support for Ukraine with a new military aid package and stand shoulder to shoulder with our Ukrainian friends for as long as it takes.
Odesa. Together with the UK Secretary of State for Defence, we visited the hospital where sailors wounded in battles with Russian occupiers are being treated and spoke with these brave warriors.
I honored the defenders with state awards. I am grateful for their fight, service, and defense of Ukraine.
I also extend my gratitude to the medical staff who treat our warriors and bring them back to life.

We are disappointed with @KeithBrownSNP as he misrepresents @hp_scotland yesterday in parliament challenging @Douglas4Moray for raising the very serious matter about @GlasgowCC refusing our fridge can along with our other x3 vehicles into the LEZ zone after us being requested by a SNP councillor to submit a second application just for the fridge van it was accepted ONLY for 2 months 3hrs before it came into force we have been forced to buy a new fridge van and fundraise for a further 3 vehicles due to @GlasgowCC LEZ and for the last week we have not been able to bring our emergency street outreach vehicles into the city. We would appreciate if @KeithBrownSNP would support us instead of misrepresenting us. @Douglas4Moray was right on this occasion and we are still suffering today as a result of LEZ. @HumzaYousaf it would be better if your @scotgov and @theSNP supported us rather than hindering us 👍

The situation in the occupied part of Kherson region is absolutely catastrophic. The occupiers simply abandoned people in these terrible conditions. Without rescue, without water, just on the rooftops in flooded communities. And this is another deliberate crime of Russia: after the terrorist state has caused a disaster, it also maximizes the damage from it.
Now we need a clear and quick response from the world to what is happening. It is even impossible to establish for sure how many people in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region may die without rescue, without drinking water, without food, without medical care. Our military and special services are rescuing people as much as it is possible, despite the shelling.
But large-scale efforts are needed.
We need international organizations, such as the International Committee of the Red Cross, to immediately join the rescue operation and help people in the occupied part of Kherson region. Each person who dies there is a verdict on the existing international architecture and international organizations that have forgotten how to save lives. If there is no international organization in the area of this disaster now, it means that it does not exist at all, that it is incapable of functioning. All the relevant appeals from Ukraine and our government are in place.
