I have requested that he bring with him assistants, even though some are not from our Country, of Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier, Amanda Nunes, and Kayla Harris. BREAKING: Arizona Democrats win control of the state House, Senate and governor’s office for the first time since 1966, per the AP.
Gov. Katie Hobbs won reelection, and Democrats flipped both chambers of the Legislature. Republicans had controlled the House for 60 years and the Senate since the early 1990s.
Hobbs vetoed more than 540 bills from the Republican-led Legislature in her first term, on taxes, immigration and voting. With a Democratic Legislature, she’s pledged to focus on water, affordability, and fraud and abuse in the state’s school voucher program.
Arizona is one of at least six states where Democrats now hold full control, along with Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Nevada and Wisconsin.
