A few weeks ago at Baltimore, I attended with the goal to Day 2 my first regional ever. I just wanted to prove to myself I was strong. I lost my win-and-in at 5-2, and ended 5-3. I was devastated. But I tried to pull through, woke up the next day, and won the 200 person Cup (1/2)

I right there public results don’t matter outside official circuits. It’s your sense of improvement that does. However little outside attention it gets. I’ve been teaching myself this game since SV, and because of that one “5-3” I got that feeling of strength I was searching for.

Semi-related but I think we need to have an uncomfortable conversation about how VenuZard genuinely rewards bad positioning and is probably one of the worst team cores you can use if you want to actually learn or improve at the game.

Real talk, has anyone ever made a trainer OC where their mega keystone and their partner’s mega stone is just a Potara earring? It sounds like such an obvious idea now that I think about it and I’m surprised I haven’t seen it yet.
