Just watched The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai with my kids and realized that growing up thinking it's normal to be a neuroscientist, physicist, martial artist, interdimensional adventurer, rock star, and subject of a comic book all at once is exactly what is wrong with me

In the past week I’ve completely overhauled a 20 yo old bike, reviving my own lost knowledge and identifying components and sizes with pictures, troubleshot and fixed a tricky wiring situation in my house, and corrected a landscaping problem with a $20 Claude subscription.
I sound like Crocodile Dundee anytime someone brings up Heartbreak Hill: “you call that a knife? THIS is a knife.” and then I show them the elevation profile for UTMB.
