34-years ago, I watched the last episode of this comedy series. A truly emotional moment that reflected on the awful nature of war. I think it took many by surprise that it ended this way. I cried. #RememberanceDay is for personal reflection, not politics.

If we can’t stomach setting up a No Fly Zone, let’s equip Ukraine @KpsZSU with the tools to do it themselves. At the very least, they will need them to police their airspace when they kick 🇷🇺 out of their country.

Important research coming out of London this month regarding #HSCT for #MS. Far from being suitable only for highly active #RRMS this data shows that HSCT can be effective for #PPMS and #SPMS too. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3425… #MultipleSclerosis @mssocietyuk @mssocietyscot

An absolute honour to represent @RoyalAirForce today at the formal opening of the new British Normandy Memorial @britishmemorial - a spectacular memorial in Ver sur Mer overlooking Gold Beach.
And equally honoured to meet so many of the veterans - self effacing and brilliant.

Our deaths are not inevitable, we are not expendable, we are key-workers, parents, children, students, lovers, siblings, artists & leaders - we should not have to beg for our lives to be protected. But this is where we are! Disabled & chronically ill people need action now!
Official stats show that 59% of people who have died so far from coronavirus in the UK were disabled. Where is the Govt's plan to protect disabled people and those living with long term health conditions during a second wave? #COVID19

On #BattleofBritainDay, Defence Secretary @BWallaceMP reflects on the unimaginable sacrifices made 80 years ago. Today, tributes will take place across the UK to honour the sacrifices made by the Greatest Generation.

ALT The strength displayed during the Battle of Britain is a testament to the UK Armed Forces and all they continue to do at home and abroad. This anniversary provides an opportunity for us all to honour those involved and reflect on their bravery and the unimaginable sacrifices they made to ensure freedom for future generations.

We are saddened by the passing of D-Day veteran John 'Jock' Hutton who served in the 13th (Lancashire) Parachute Battalion.
Last year, Jock touched the hearts of many, parachuting over Normandy at the #DDay75 commemorations.
His courage and spirit must never be forgotten.
