If you're NOT voting in this election, why?
I'm genuinely curious, not planning to try to convince you or argue. We may not agree, but I'd like to hear your reasoning.
The debate over Amendment 3 sounds awfully familiar.
Remember when Florida expanded school choice? We heard all about the financial consequences, budget shortfalls, and how public schools would suffer.
Now weāre hearing the same arguments about cutting property taxes. What about local government revenue? How will they survive with less money?
Hereās a thought. Maybe government should figure out how to operate with less money instead of expecting taxpayers to keep handing over more.
Iām not saying there arenāt legitimate financial considerations. But since when is protecting government revenue more important than protecting the people paying the bills?
Government exists to serve taxpayers. Not the other way around.

FL Governorās race qualifying update: Donalds, Renner, and Fishback officially qualified already. Collins has not yet. The window closes Friday at noon, so there's time. The bigger question: Will anyone face a formal challenge before the primary?
Candidate qualifying in Florida starts tomorrow. I know I'm waiting to see if a few candidates are still campaigning by Friday. This is going to be a hell of a year in Florida politics.
