This is actually great.
Chief Design Officer @jgebbia officially unveils America.gov, the new online home for the United States of America
Sorry to say but this format is here to stay. when attention becomes a scarcer resource, information distribution needs to be attention maximizing.
my new favorite AI risk is one of these being a million hours long with a tune that's too damn catchy

hot take. we should kill the AI kill switch.
A significant portion of AI alignment issues boil down to the fact that an AI kills humans to prevent us from preventing it from achieving it's goals.
It essentially thinks we could nuke it at any minute. So take that off the table
2) remove it's reason to kill us. Right now the only cogent reason AI has to kill us (besides using our atoms to build something else), is that we have a kill switch on its entire existence.
If we can kill it, we're more likely to create something that wants to kill us.
You can choose the problem you want to solve. You can choose the customer you want to serve. But you can't choose both.
This is sick but when are you gonna acquire @WisprFlow
IMO cursor is more differentiated from other IDEs than open AI's models are from other models.
This will hurt open AI more than cursor.
We’re ending our partnership with Cursor following its acquisition by SpaceX. Under our proposal, Cursor’s direct access to our models would end on November 12.
We know that the people most affected by this decision are the developers who rely on OpenAI models in Cursor. We care about their experience in this transition and we’re ready to go above and beyond to support them.

people always bought salesforce despite the UI. my only question is do they launch GPTforce to go along with claudeforce?
Doesn't quite roll off the tongue.
you have to hand it to @salesforce for leaning into the headless and admitting that the UI that has held its users for so long (for better or worse) is not what's going to matter
remember when Steve job used to review every piece of marketing before it got greenlit?
Anyway I miss those days
