This season’s been absolute hell for GR63 and 63s. Probably one of the worst we’ve ever had if not the worst tbh But there’s something about the way this fd has come together that genuinely makes me so emotional. Seeing fans all around the world putting so much time and effort into making something for George means so much. I mean we might not be able to do much to help him through what’s happening on track but the effort people put into making him feel loved and appreciated is so special I absolutely adore this little sparkly cute hats tradition for the biggest paddock’s diva and especially this year it feels like more than just a cute gift. It’s a way of reminding him how many people are standing behind him. I really do hope he feels all that love

Mexico 2025 gave us some truly iconic George Russell moments One of George’s most legendary radios George was stuck behind Kimi asking Mercedes to swap positions over and over again while Piastri was closing in behind him so he sarcastically asked the team if he should let a McLaren through. Him wearing a lucha libre mask just to watch FP from the grandstands Fred took his seat in FP1 so George decided to throw on a lucha libre mask, headed to the Foro Sol grandstands and watched practice among the fans. The most George moment is him pointing at Fred on track and going like “That’s my car! He’s driving my car!”

Tarot reading for George Russell in Austin 2026 The qualifying looks really promising for him. He should be confident and competitive and the team could do a great job together. There is a good chance of a really strong qualifying result and possibly a top three start. The race looks a lot more complicated. George might struggle at the start and find himself in a situation where he cannot really use his full pace. Things should settle down after that but he might have to be patient and deal with some difficult decisions during the race. The final part of the race could be frustrating because he might not have many opportunities to improve his position. But when I specifically asked whether George would get a podium the answer was very positive. So despite all the difficulties he could still finish in the top three. It might be a good result but not quite everything he was hoping for. I also did a reading for Kimi it said there is a possibility that both George and Kimi could end up on the podium together.

Tarot reading for George’s 2026 Mexico GP Quali doesn’t look good at all. I see disappointment and some issues that should be solved. Feels like they’re trying to find a balance. I feel some tense, exhaustion, a lot of work. In the race George’s start looks quite aggressive. A lot of energy, some risks, almost like he’s got nothing left to lose. The pace might be frustrating though. He could get stuck in a situation where he can’t really make use of what he has. Then something unexpected happens, something changes things like… out of his hands. The ending itself doesn’t look bad. It might actually be better than expected. He could feel relieved more than anything, just happy it’s over. But I think there might be some regret too, like he realizes he missed out on something. Feels like bittersweet one. Kimi’s race Kimi seems to have quite a lot going in his favour. There’s some kind of support, things working out for him and a lot of confidence that he can pull it off. What’s weird is that I got a similar message for George. Something unexpected might happen and change everything for both of them. As for Kimi winning, I honestly didn’t get a clear yes or no. A win is possible but something about it feels off. Like he might get what he wants, just not in the way he wanted. There’s a sense of conflict or a victory that comes at a price. And even if things go well for him, I see him having mixed feelings.

I understand and almost appreciate this quote but really at the beginning of the year George was dominating every session until his car ctrl+alt+deleted itself in Q3 Shanghai and those same issues have continued plaguing his car in every race weekend following. Kimi has made a phenomenal step up but there has not been a genuine 6-tenths pace swing in the other direction over a race weekend. But now that Kimi’s wrapped it up, and Mercedes can brag about having the youngest WDC and market the fuck out of that, hopefully we see the care and nurture on both sides of the garage again.
🚨 Toto 🗣️”I think he's [Marko] wrong on George. George has all the ability. I think the car doesn't suit him.” “I think that at the beginning of the season it's difficult to cope with a situation where you're feeling like 'this is my year to come,' and then you have this wunderkind on the other side that starts to really chip away. And I believe that in a new season, George, if we provide him a quick car, has absolutely what it needs to win a championship.” “George, for all of us in the team, is a champion and has won in every category. I think he merits to be put in the group of the very best ones," “This year we see this variability in results. When we land the car in the way that suits him, he's absolutely fine. But when it drops out of the operational window, he struggles. He struggles more than maybe Kimi and that is on us” “We just have to work it out. Because George is not half a second slower, three tenths slower than Kimi. That's just absolutely not the case.” “So what is it that he doesn't like? What is it that we need to do in terms of modifying the car, setting it up in a different way for him to go fast? Because it's all there - intelligence, ability, determination.” [@ESPNF1]

I think what makes this hurt so bad is bcs we see ourselves in him. We see a little of ourselves in the way he keeps going, in the things he has to endure, and in how much he still has to give despite everything. And we love him in the way we wish we could be loved too.

Not Russel’s fault Mercedes have favored Kimi all season. The cars are definitely not the same in regards to software. Just looking at telemetry data Russel’s battery never seems to work or deploy correct where Kimi never had any issues. Mercedes want the PR and sell the image of “youngest WDC”
This is what a driver looks and sounds like when he's mentally completely broken. Hard to believe this is the same George who said: "I love this car, I love this engine" back in Australia.

You’d think a former F1 driver would know better than to blame someone’s lack of pace on a few sponsorship deals when the car itself has been a nightmare to drive but apparently not
Someone needs to remind Coulthard that commentary requires actual research. In his new contract,George successfully secured terms that specifically reduced his PR and sponsor media days. It’d be a massive upgrade if the media focused on the real issues between GR and the team.

George Russell will miss FP1 at the Mexico City GP, with Mercedes reserve driver Frederik Vesti taking his place in the W17 It’s part of the mandatory rookie practice sessions, and this will be George’s first one of the season. The timing isn’t great considering Mercedes are still trying to figure out why the W17 has such a narrow operating window after George’s struggles in Austin. Source: RacingNews365

The Race tried to make sense of George's awful pace in Austin George was around 0.8s per lap slower on average during the first stint and traffic alone doesn’t explain that gap. Things improved on the hard tyres but after a few laps he caught Piastri and couldn’t get past. George wasn’t losing much to Kimi in the faster corners but in the slower sections, particularly on corner exits. Kimi was generally sacrificing some entry speed for a better exit and managing his rear tyres more effectively. They also consider differences in how they were using electrical deployment though there’s no definitive evidence of that. And once again it all comes back to the W17’s ridiculously narrow operating window.

Lmao so you did genuinely think bringing up Max Verstappen would strengthen your argument. Ok then why did your own example who’s a four-time world champion, finish P6 in Australia, P8 in Japan and P5 in Miami THIS year? Did he suddenly forget how to drive? No, he struggled too. Drivers need to adapt yes but they can’t magically fix an aerodynamic platform, eliminate mechanical limitations or make a car perform outside its operating window. That’s actually impressive how your own example disproves your entire argument.
