Sie haben richtig gelesen: Dr. Kathrin Sommer, fünf Monate lang Geschäftsführerin des städtischen "Flüchtlings"unterbringungsunternehmens "fördern und wohnen" hat im Jahr 2025 für knapp fünf Monate Arbeit insgesamt 453 000 Euro Steuergeld erhalten. Das ergab eine Anfrage meiner Fraktion.
Darin enthalten: 200 000 Euro Abfindung und 25 000 Euro "Bonuszahlungen" - obwohl man sich nach kurzer Zeit von ihr getrennt hat.
Die Flüchtingsindustrie ist längst ein Selbstbedienungsladen am Steuertrog.
Skandal im Skandal: Der Senat verweigert die Antwort auf die Frage, wofür die Bonuszahlungen ausgezahlt worden sind. Und der Senat verweigert auch die Antwort auf die Frage, warum man sich von ihr getrennt hat.

Wow – Deutschland hat ein massives neues Problem!
Es ist nicht die Wohnungsnot, es sind nicht die maroden Brücken, es ist nicht die zusammenbrechende Industrie, es sind nicht die explodierenden Energiekosten, die steigenden Insolvenzzahlen oder die massenhafte Abwanderung von Unternehmen ins Ausland.
Es ist auch nicht das niedergehende Gesundheitssystem, der Ärztemangel, das Krankenhaussterben, der Pflegenotstand, der Lehrermangel, der Unterrichtsausfall oder das katastrophale Bildungsniveau.
Nein, es sind auch nicht die leeren Staatskassen, die überschuldeten Kommunen, die steigenden Sozialausgaben, die ausufernde Bürokratie, die überlasteten Behörden, die schleppende Digitalisierung oder die immer weiter zerfallende Infrastruktur.
Es ist nicht der Zusammenbruch des innerdeutschen Flugverkehrs, das Sterben der Gastronomie, der Niedergang des Einzelhandels, die Krise der Automobilindustrie, der Stellenabbau im Maschinenbau oder der Verlust unserer internationalen Wettbewerbsfähigkeit.
Es sind auch nicht die steigende Kriminalität, die Probleme bei der inneren Sicherheit, die überlastete Justiz, die marode Deutsche Bahn, die verfallenden Schulen oder die immer höheren Steuern und Abgaben.
NEIN! Deutschland hat offenbar ein viel größeres Problem!

Ich war selbst acht Jahre Mitglied der @CDU. Deshalb überrascht mich der Fall @CNathusius kein bisschen. Er illustriert vielmehr ein strukturelles Problem dieser Partei: Mittelmaß wird verwaltet, Talent wird aussortiert.
Meine These: Für Nathusius gab es in der @Junge_Union schlicht keinen angemessenen Platz. Also wurde sie Schatzmeisterin. Ein klassisches Parteiamt für diejenigen, die arbeiten dürfen, während andere vor Kameras bedeutungsschwere Sätze aufsagen.
Dumm nur: Nathusius verstand offenbar schneller als ihre Parteifreunde, wie politische Kommunikation im 21. Jahrhundert funktioniert.
Sie baute sich ihre eigene Reichweite auf. Ohne den Segen irgendeines Kreisvorsitzenden. Ohne jahrelanges Plakatkleben. Ohne sich bei Funktionären anzudienen, deren politische Halbwertszeit häufig kürzer ist als die ihrer Wahlkampfversprechen.
Und damit beginnt das eigentliche Problem.
Wer in der Union Karriere machen will, muss offenbar zuerst beweisen, dass er bereit ist, sich jahrelang Leuten unterzuordnen, die ihm intellektuell und rhetorisch nicht das Wasser reichen können.
Eigenständigkeit? Verdächtig.
Selbstbewusstsein? Anmaßend.
Politischer Erfolg ohne Genehmigung der Parteihierarchie? Unverzeihlich.
Ob Nathusius ihr Amt als Schatzmeisterin fachlich angemessen ausgeübt hat, lässt sich ohne belastbare Informationen nicht beurteilen. Ebenso wenig, welche Rolle persönliche Animositäten bei den internen Auseinandersetzungen spielten.
Aber eines ist bemerkenswert: Eine junge Politikerin schafft aus eigener Kraft Öffentlichkeit und Reichweite und ihre Partei bekommt es offenbar nicht hin, dieses Potenzial konstruktiv einzubinden.
Nathusius ist rhetorisch stark, medienwirksam, selbstbewusst und verfügt über eine politische Präsenz, von der mancher Berufsfunktionär nur träumen kann.
Sie hätte eine Bereicherung für die Bundes-CDU sein können.
Stattdessen erleben wir möglicherweise das nächste Kapitel einer bemerkenswerten Tradition: Die Union beklagt den Mangel an politischem Nachwuchs und demonstriert gleichzeitig, weshalb sich eigenständige Talente diese Ochsentour besser zweimal überlegen sollten.
Die Botschaft an junge Politiker ist jedenfalls verheerend:
Wer Karriere machen will, sollte weniger Nathusius und mehr Amthor sein.
Brav sein. Dienen. Netzwerke pflegen. Die richtigen Leute bewundern. Und vor allem niemals den Eindruck erwecken, man könnte ohne die Partei erfolgreicher sein als mit ihr.
Die CDU hat offenbar kein Nachwuchsproblem.
Sie hat ein Problem mit Nachwuchs, der keinen Vormund braucht.

**You need to watch Zelenskyy's interview with Steven Bartlett.**
Sitting in front of the camera is an utterly exhausted, at times visibly broken man who has spent almost five years personally managing a war, making critical decisions day and night.
From the very first minutes, you can see just how drained he is. When asked the routine question, "How are you?" he replies that he barely sleeps because he spends his nights in military group chats, moving the last remaining air defense systems from one region to another.
Two stories are particularly heartbreaking.
The first is about a missile that struck a children's playground within seconds, while parents watched from their apartment windows as their children were torn apart.
The second is about presenting posthumous military awards to the families of fallen soldiers:
"You present an award to a father, feel his strong hand, and then he quietly asks, 'Can we hug?' At that moment, I simply cease to exist inside. These people are gone. They will never be the same again."
When the host tries to take him back into his past, showing old photographs from Kryvyi Rih, his student comedy performances, his voice acting as Paddington Bear, and scenes from *Servant of the People*, Zelenskyy looks at them with detachment, almost as though he is watching someone else's life.
He also recalls February 2022 without any attempt to portray himself as a hero.
He says that for the first 20 days, he simply ran from office to office on adrenaline, calling everyone he could and trying to organize deliveries of water and food to Kyiv.
Fear and the full realization of what had happened only caught up with him three weeks later, when Bucha was liberated and mass graves containing hundreds of murdered civilians were discovered.
Using Bucha as an example, he explains why advice from outsiders to simply negotiate a quick deal causes him such deep frustration:
"Imagine that in the United States or Britain, a mass grave is discovered containing 500 tortured people with their hands tied. How could you simply forgive everything after that?"
The rest of the conversation revolves around the deadlock in which Ukrainians, and indeed everyone involved, now find themselves.
Zelenskyy explains the causes of the war in simple terms: Moscow is trying to forcibly rebuild the Soviet empire because Ukraine's integration into Europe would finally bury that project.
But when the conversation turns to the present, there is unmistakable bitterness in his words.
Almost one-fifth of Ukraine's territory is occupied. The east is under relentless bombardment. Cities are left without electricity. People are dying every single day.
Meanwhile, every discussion about a ceasefire runs into the same demand: Kyiv must withdraw even farther from its fortified positions, without any guarantees that Russia will not launch another offensive a year later.
Toward the end, the conversation turns to Trump and Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil facilities.
Trump publicly reprimands Zelenskyy over attacks on Russian refineries because he fears rising diesel prices for American farmers ahead of the elections.
And this is where you can see just how deeply that approach affects Zelenskyy.
His country is burning.
Moscow has rejected his proposal for a mutual halt to attacks on energy infrastructure.
Patriot missiles paid for by Europe are being redirected by the Americans to the Middle East.
And somehow, Zelenskyy is the one being blamed for fuel prices in the United States.
The entire interview leaves you with a profoundly bleak feeling.
Here is a man trapped between the daily deaths of people in his own country and the pragmatic bargaining of allies who have their own elections, their own interests, and their own political calculations.
And yet, he can no longer step away from this responsibility.

France 2 transmitió esta compilación titulada «En el corazón de la violencia» que mostraba, con muy poco comentario en off, esta guerra híbrida. Se ve de todo.
Resulta que uno de los grandes sindicatos de Francia, el CGT, y otro comité similar (CFDT), se enfurecieron mucho con la emisión de este video porque muestra la «protesta» sin filtros y exigen no sólo el despido del presentador sino de todo el equipo de noticias de esta edición.
Sí, sindicatos pidiendo que despidan a un equipo entero porque se atrevieron a mostrar lo que no quieren que se vea.
A esta demanda delirante se unió también la organización de periodistas SNJ y más voces de periodistas. El canal público France 2 hizo una declaración de disculpa. Ese es el ecosistema periodístico francés. Por eso, este video debe ser preservado y difundido, aunque dure 12 minutos.
