The man was Somali. I wanted to add that since that community has become a punching bag of sorts in rightwing media.
A SOMALI American rescued a busload of children.
A Minnesota man is opening up after he saved nearly 20 children when their school bus driver suffered a medical emergency.

To clarify: Gaza’s markets are still full of calorie-dense foods with little nutritional value, Including for example soft drinks, chocolates, sweets and crisps.
The current shortage concerns wheat flour and bread. Bakeries are on the verge of shutting down because wheat flour has not been allowed into Gaza for several days.

student loans could have been forgiven but instead we’re gonna nuke the economy by garnishing wages of people who are already living paycheck to paycheck. burn the whole thing down i guess, shit.
US to begin the largest wage and asset seizure in history after the midterm elections; seizures will target 10 million students in student loan default. $COF $BAC $WFC $JPM
The banking and housing system are about to implode.

My insurance just denied coverage for a medication my CARDIOLOGIST who is a DOCTOR put me on. A company that doesn’t treat me gets to overrule the doctor who does. They collect the premiums, deny the care, and leave patients to pay the price.

A new report found Elon Musk’s DOGE canceled $470 MILLION in grants and spending for Indian Country. The federal government’s obligation to tribes goes back to treaties, and many advocates are saying the cuts amount to treaty violations.

GM just announced the biggest stock buyback in automotive industry history.
Instead of investing in their workers or new product lines, GM executives are robbing from the future to pay themselves and their shareholders today.
Stock buybacks should be illegal.

I like Slayyyter, but the “I was just a kid” schtick is so annoying because, so was Normani?? Dealing with racism as a child >>>>> dealing with the repercussions of your racism as an adult

So basically a police officer committed deed theft.
He did a welfare check on a senior, discovered they died then took over his house.
This is why deed theft victims I’ve spoken with don’t trust police, judges or attorneys. That cop lived there for FOUR YEARS undetected 😐
A Florida man was found dead in his home during a welfare check in July 2022. Weeks later, one of the officers who discovered his body moved into the home and spent years impersonating him, according to investigators. nbcnews.com/news/us-news/off…

When I broke the story that imprisoned Elizabeth Holmes and Billy Evans were secretly forming a new startup to get back into the medical device industry, Evans fought me hard over Holmes’ involvement, saying she was on the outside of it and not an advisor. Which is why it was quite striking when, minutes into You Can See Everything, Fielder captures Holmes making calls about the new startup….

For the first time in @metrotimes history, we’re no longer seeking comment from a candidate’s campaign because of repeated lies and bigoted attacks. That candidate is Mike Rogers, whose campaign keeps targeting Abdul El-Sayed’s Muslim faith. metrotimes.com/news/mike-rog…
