This is a watershed moment and it passed by almost unnoticed. Here we have British cops threatening a man with arrest for being “openly Jewish” at a pro-Hamas rally. Being Jewish in public where Muslims can see you in Sadiq Khan’s London is now officially a crime. Never mind that he’s standing quietly with his hands in his pockets while people chant “Nazi scum” at him: he’s visibly Jewish, which makes him clearly in the wrong.
Also worth noting: the fact that the cops, apparently incapable of preventing violence as long as this man is antagonizing the crowd by breathing Jewishly at them, have decided that the best way to deal with the problem of violent antisemitism is to side with the antisemitic mob. Arresting a Jew, whose very existence is an act of Islamophobia, is so much safer than protecting him and his right to be openly Jewish in 21st century Britain.

OpenAI 刚刚挑战了计算机科学界 25 年的一个基本信念。
这可能是 AI 科研史上最重要的突破之一。
2026 年 10 月 17 日，OpenAI 发布了一篇论文，标题只有一句话：
《The Exponential Time Hypothesis Is False》
翻译过来就是：
「指数时间假说是错的。」
你可能不知道这意味着什么。
但如果这篇论文最终被证实，它可能会改变我们对计算机能力极限的理解。
我用 16 岁高中生也能听懂的方式解释一下。
先想象一个游戏
你面前有 30 个开关。
每个开关只有两种状态：开或关。
你需要找到一组开关组合，同时满足几百条规则。
问题是：
30 个开关，总共有多少种组合？
答案是：
2³⁰ = 10.7 亿种。
如果有 100 个开关呢？
组合数量就变成一个天文数字。
这就是计算机科学中的经典难题：SAT（布尔可满足性问题）。
过去几十年，科学家普遍相信一个假说：
对于某些 SAT 问题，不管你的算法多聪明，最坏情况下，计算时间都无法避免指数级增长。
这个假说叫 ETH，指数时间假说。
它是计算复杂性理论的重要基础。
然后，OpenAI 的 AI 做了一件惊人的事
它提出了一种全新的算法。
不仅能够判断这些开关有没有满足规则的组合。
还能精确计算到底有多少种合法组合。
更重要的是：
理论上，它的运行时间增长速度突破了 ETH 所假设的指数级下界。
数学家称之为「亚指数时间」。
简单理解：
以前大家以为，你不可能绕开的一堵墙，现在 AI 声称找到了一条路。
而且 OpenAI 还发布了使用 Lean 数学证明系统进行形式化验证的代码。
这是不是意味着所有难题都能秒解？
不是。
这里有两个非常重要的区别：
第一，亚指数时间不等于几秒钟解决问题。面对足够大的问题，算法仍然可能非常慢。
第二，这也不意味着著名的 P vs NP 难题已经解决。
真正的突破不是电脑突然快了 100 万倍，而是我们对计算难度的理论认知可能需要被重新审视。
目前，OpenAI 已公布论文和形式化证明，独立专家仍在审查这一结果。
我觉得最震撼的，其实不是算法本身。
而是一个更大的变化：
过去，我们把 AI 当成回答问题的工具。
后来，它开始帮助人类写代码、做实验、寻找规律。
现在，它开始提出可能改变计算机科学基础理论的证明。
AI 正在从使用人类已知知识，走向帮助人类发现未知知识。
当然，这次研究能否完全经受住学术界的检验，还需要时间。
但一个值得所有年轻人思考的问题已经出现：
如果 AI 不仅能回答考试题，还能挑战写在教科书里的理论，那么未来 10 年，我们应该学会什么？
我认为，答案可能不再只是「学会解决问题」。
而是：
学会提出真正值得解决的问题。

Many of you don't understand how serious this is, so let me break it down.
In computer science there is a famous kind of puzzle called 3-SAT. You are given a long list of yes-or-no switches and a set of rules about how they must be arranged, and you have to find a combination that satisfies every rule. The obvious way to solve it is to try every combination, but each new switch doubles the number of possibilities, so a puzzle with a few hundred switches would take longer than the age of the universe to brute force.
For decades, the smartest people in the field found clever tricks that made this a little faster, but every trick still hit the same wall: the time required kept exploding as the puzzle grew.
About 25 years ago, two computer scientists, Russell Impagliazzo and Ramamohan Paturi, working with Francis Zane, turned that wall into a formal idea.
They proposed the Exponential Time Hypothesis, which says this explosion is not a failure of human cleverness but a law of nature. No algorithm, however brilliant, will ever solve 3-SAT without the time blowing up exponentially. Nobody could prove it, but almost everyone believed it, and it became one of the foundations of modern computer science.
Researchers used it as a measuring stick. If you could show that solving some other problem quickly would also crack 3-SAT quickly, you had shown that problem was hopelessly hard too. Hundreds of papers, across scheduling, graphs, logic and much more, rest on this one assumption.
Now an internal AI model at OpenAI claims to have broken it. It says it found an algorithm that solves these puzzles meaningfully faster than the hypothesis allows, and it has checked the proof in a computer verification system called Lean.
And here is the remarkable part: the very people who proposed the hypothesis, Impagliazzo and Paturi, along with MIT's Ryan Williams, are now leading the public review of whether a machine has disproved their own idea.
So what happens next? If the disproof holds, a large part of theoretical computer science has to be revisited.
Every result that said "this problem cannot be solved faster, assuming ETH" loses its foundation, and researchers will have to work out which of those walls were real and which were simply where we stopped looking. It does not mean everything becomes easy. The new algorithm is still slow in absolute terms and this is not the famous P versus NP problem being solved.
But it means our map of what is possible was wrong in a place we were very confident about, and it was an AI that redrew it. If the disproof fails, the hypothesis survives and the field breathes out, but we will still have watched an AI produce serious, checkable work on one of the deepest questions in the discipline, closely enough that the founders of the idea had to take it seriously. Either way, something has shifted.

They also defend this whole concept of constantly whipping themselves into emotional frenzies. how many troons get violent when they are called what they actually are? Nearly all of them, but some lash out far worse and physically. A disturbing number kill their parents.
This is one of the reasons they have high slice and suicide rates- each other. they cause endless fear into the younger ones with anxiety, fuck them up with pills, and then watch them turn psycho for fun or off themselves.
We just put on display one such troon who is now suspended- put out a fake suicide note, streams the next day, says he knows he isn't a woman, troons keep him in the delusion instead of telling him to get help. they encourage him to post free pissing videos out of his rot pocket. no one else did that. troons groomed his mentally broken ass and isolated him from his family.

Things that are not genocide:

Not only are none of these acts genocidal, none of them violate any right that any person has.
If they were granted, as they have been in many states, they would simply be discretionary entitlements being handed out by the state to a legally privileged caste of person at the expense of the rights of others.
Where they are being removed, it is simply a reversion to a status quo without a legally privileged caste being rewarded with special rights that come at the expense of the rights and finances of others.
Glad to clear this confusion up, guys -- I expect you will now desist from claiming that you are victims of a genocide when you are not victims of rights violation of any kind.

'Male teachers have worked in girls’ schools for some time, it’s not a new concept.'
Yep ... I went to a girls' school. There were lots of male teachers - including the odd one we found a bit creepy.
But here's four things they never did:
1. Tell us they were women and that we had to call them 'Miss'
2. Publish an article in the newspaper about travelling abroad for a 'sex change' op and/or hold a raffle to raise money for it (1990s pre-internet version)
3. Use toilets, showers and changing facilities reserved for female staff or students - or claim they were entitled to do so
4. Supervise girls getting changed for PE or dance - or claim they were entitled to do so
Had they done any of these things - or had there been even the slightest concern they *might* be - this would have raised serious safeguarding concerns.
Now girls - and their parents - are told its 'unkind' to question what would once have been extremely concerning behaviour.

As a lesbian, I completely agree with this.
Modern LGBTQIA+ activism does not speak for me. I don’t believe biological sex is meaningless. I don’t want children medicalized or put at the center of this fight. And I don’t believe women’s sports, spaces, and rights should be dismantled to accommodate male people who identify as women.
Most lesbians and gay men just want to live their lives. We didn’t sign up for erasing sex, silencing women, or calling basic reality “hate.”
This isn’t progress. It’s madness, and it’s burning the support we once had.
As a gay man, one of the biggest frustrations I have with modern LGBTQIA+ activism is that it insists on speaking for all of us.
It doesn’t.
There are millions of gay people who simply want to live normal lives, build careers, get married, have families, and be judged by the same standards as everyone else.
Instead, every major corporation, activist organization, and media outlet elevates the loudest, most ideological voices and presents them as if they represent the entire community.
They don’t represent me.
I don’t believe biological sex is meaningless.
I don’t believe children should be at the center of culture war battles.
I don’t believe every institution has to revolve around identity politics.
Most importantly, I don’t believe disagreeing with activists makes someone anti-gay.
The greatest victories for gay Americans came from convincing the public that we deserved equal treatment under the law, not that society had to redefine reality to accommodate every new ideological demand.
When activism becomes untethered from common sense, it stops building support and starts burning it.
That’s exactly what we’re watching happen.

She founded Beira's Place, a women-only centre in Edinburgh for survivors of sexual violence. She has funded legal fights to protect women's rights and women-only spaces. And she has given a voice to women who were too scared to speak.
For that she has faced years of death threats, rape threats and torture threats.

🚨ALERT: The editors of the journal Men and Masculinities will no longer allow authors to refer to individuals as being "male."
If an author uses the term, they should "specify which dimension(s) of sex are at issue, since sex itself refers to several only loosely correlated dimensions rather than a single underlying fact."
For example, trans-identifying male swimmer Lia Thomas must be referred to as a woman, and his maleness, if mentioned at all, must be attached to specific traits, like genitals, hormones, and chromosomes.
You cannot call Lia Thomas a "male" in this journal, but a woman with "male genitals" and "male sex chromosomes."
The first author of this editorial—the Managing Editor of Men and Masculinities, Tristen Kade—is a woman who identifies as a man.
The model of biological sex this editorial is pushing is what I refer to in my scholarly article "Why There Are Exactly Two Sexes" as the "multi-level" sex model. This model is not merely wrong—it is self-refuting.

Wow, this is what Yemen looked like in the 1960s under British rule. That was over half a century ago, but it looked decades more advanced than Yemen does today.
It’s almost unbelievable compared to what the country has become. And it’s a testament to how quickly a country can collapse once Islam reigns supreme.
