I got a lot of opinions on Coil 2.0 plus Subspace as a whole but in a way, Subspace experimenting on Coil/making Coil 2.0 is taking Coil’s name away from him. Coil had to experiment to spawn his gear so it’s taking away what essentially what he sees as his identity all over again

There is genuinely so much shit you could make with 2.0s, like loss of identity, loss of autonomy, etc. plus the physical stuff like being turned into something you are not from the inside out. It’s kinda monstrous, whether the monster is coil 2.0 or Subspace is up to the viewer

It’s also the fact that if coil is actually alive. You can have two horrifying concepts of coil watching himself do shit he swore he’d never do (possibly killing an inphernal if you wanna go that far) or it’s just Subspace puppeting coils corpse like THIS SHIT SCARY
