📜Our GATA story is finally out in its peer-reviewed format! We even added a double deletion of GATA-responsive enhancers in zygotes to show a direct connection between GATA TFs and Xist. Congratulations to all authors! nature.com/articles/s41556-0…
We’re excited to share our new preprint, headed by Liat Ravid Lustig and @AbhiSampKumar, where we identify the GATA family as tissue-specific activators of Xist, which are required for initiation of X inactivation in early embryos. biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…. See tweetorial below

Check out our lab's recent #preprint by Hanna Schwaemmle and our collaborators @unige_en. We asked how do cells assemble functional SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling complexes? The key is to make just the right amount of each subunit!

Maxi’s beautiful study on chromatin rewiring in dormancy/diapause is out! He identified mechanisms by which stem cells protect cellular identity during low activity. We believe that similar mechanisms might apply to other dormant cells in health and disease.
How do embryos and ESCs safeguard pluripotency throughout a state of dormancy? A great collaborative effort of the @bulutkarslioglu -lab & the

Cofactors are a crucial part of the gene activation process. Yet, we still don't have a comprehensive understanding of how and why they are used by different genes. Proud to present our attempt to address this key question, now published
